Movies you've seen recently II

Rocky tells Adonis that his boy had fallen in love with some girl, and married her and moved to Vancouver to get away from living in Philly in Rockys shadow. He says he understands and is happy for him.

Might've wanted to let his boy know he had cancer. Shadow and all, finding out at a funeral wouldn't be a happy thing.

That is exactly what I thought too. I thought either the kid is really just a big a-hole that doesn't care at all about his dad, so Ricky just figured why bother, or Rocky is a gigantic a-hole for not tellin his kid he was going through cancer treatment...Anyway like I said earlier..the movie has flaws, but I liked it.

Loved it! The part we're discussing is the writers trying to play up the father figure angle which would have been made awkward with an ACTUAL SON begging him to get treated instead of a friend's. I know Milo Ventimiglia played his son in Rocky Balboa. Also that romantic relationship in that movie disappeared...kinda liked it, since that woman was the girl that told him off at the beginning of the original movie.

Dr. Strange 8.5/10

Really loved this movie, I think Cumberbatch was an excellent fit for the role. I probably liked it just as much, if not more than the most recent Marvel film (Civil War). It was pretty trippy at times too as I'm sure a lot of you could guess.

Central intelligence- 5.5/10. It had funny moments, but I was kinda disappointed.

Dave and Mike Need Wedding Dates...stupid but clever funny.

Undecided: The Movie = 9/10

Streaming on Netflix, it's a mockumentary about two guys following the election and campaign trail closely. They interact with the real candidates and it's so funny. They were all over the news the last year but nobody knew they were part of this movie project.

Sea Of Trees 4/5. Thought it was going to be some psychobabble snoozefest. Started slow but I was stuck in a hyperbaric chamber so I didn't bail...and it was worth it. Related and it resonates with anyone who's married.
