He may not be a true 5* player (I wouldn't know) but he's certainly good enough to be a contributor. Even if it's at Nickel, we have a nickel on the field almost every play. If this guy is the best nickel we can get, who cares if he should really be a 4* instead of 5*?

I know you addressed this question to BB but just last night I was watching film on Straughter. I can't believe there's not been much talk about him. I made a thread on him because in my opinion he's a better CB than Wade.

They're both good but Straughter is a little taller & man can he cover & he can also play physical for a guy that's not very big. I was all Wade up until I looked into this Straughter kid. Now, I'm stuck.

I think I would might rather have Starughter just a tad more than Wade now after watching about 5 videos on him. Thanks!

BreakerBoy needs a life. I can't imagine caring that much.

If we get him, great. I hope he maximizes his potential.

If we don't get him, good luck to him, I hope he does well.

B) Keep trying what? Supporting kids if they choose to come to UT. I'm sure some people on here have an agenda, but it isn't me.

Not true but anytime someone says anything remotely positive about this kid you can bet your live BB will be right behind them giving his all knowing insight..

All knowing huh? Maybe I just pay attention. Lol Certain teams don't let certain players at positions go easy. Bama and Ohio State not going super hard after a high profile CB was a RED FLAG. IMO Guess the services are smarter than Meyer and Saban though. 😎😎😎😎😎

Maybe the player has told them no thanks. I am not saying he is coming to UT but not every player wants to go to bama and Osu some want to beat them. The people that know more than yourself and me have him rated high and so be it and I respect your opinions but coaches and talent observers see something in him and if he comes here he will play a lot whether you think so or not.

And those services DO NOT know more than me. I will not give them any kind of credit.

He lives in Pittsburgh what other places you going to go you can only go to Morgantown Pitt and penn state so many times and if you know so much I think you would change up your profession than sitting on volnation thumping your chest to all

So what? If thats what they eat, sleep and breathe everyday, how does that mean their evaluation and rating skills arent top notch? We get it, you think Wade is overrated. That doesnt mean he isnt a 5* player. Thats just your opinion and why wou,d your opinion hold more weight than guys who get paid to do these ratings?

If they were NFL scouts or something I'd give them credit but they are best at reporting info nothing more and nothing less.

They can't even answer you when you ask them football related questions about their rankings. Every time they feed BS. How was Tyler Byrd not a 5 star when he dominated at Army All-American game and has elite measurablea for a CB? Explain that BS.....

The fact is you don't know how good a kid is going to be until he steps foot on that college football field. Wade could be outstanding even though your opinion of him differs from the recruiting services.
