2016 Election Thread Part Deux

I think the big problem is that they're a national movement that's latched onto disenchanted Republicans as candidates. I think they could stick to principles and gain more traction at the Congressional or state level and work upward.

That should be their game plan. Build a foundation in lower offices and gain a following. Right now they are the Don Quixote of political parties.

they have as lot of stances that I agree with. But I'm also old enough to remember Weld as Governor of Massachusetts and remember how far left he tended to be. And there's also his endorsement of Barrack Obama which made no sense.

I was born in 1983, so I grew up in Massachusetts while Weld was governor. There's nothing libertarian about him. He's basically an old New England style republican. Not a lot of "libertarians" openly supported Barack Obama in 2008.

Question for you constitutional experts out there.

I fully expect Hillary to win on Tuesday and at some point within the following few weeks Obama will grant her a full pardon. With a full pardon which essentially absolves her for all past crimes could Congress even pursue an impeachment should evidence warrant such a move?

If she wins the election and is convicted then Obama pardons her this country will go wild.

This election has been fascinating.

It's akin to a team being about a 2 TD underdog, at home, and has kept the game close into the 4th quarter despite making some mistakes of their own. Early in the 4th they get a pick 6 that sends the crowd into delirium. That underdog team is Trump.

538 just switched Nevada from .1% margin D to .1% margin R.

FL moved to .2% R from .1% earlier today and .1% D yesterday.

Crazy.

Update

FL now at .4% R, NC up to .3% R (was .1% D yesterday) and Nevada up to .3% R.

NH down to 2.6% D from about 4% yesterday

If NH flips to R and the rest above hold, Trump wins.

That's the entire goal of running for president is to make the upward work possible.

Why are you all getting so excited? The Huffington Post election forecast gives Hillary a win probability of 98.6%. So obviously it's over.
