Who really cares about a bowl game now since we let the big fish get away. Season is over. Start practicing for next year

when will some brave sports writer finally say what is wrong with ut football? It ain't penalties or turnovers, except via qb. Dobbs should have been on the bench during or after the first game....in my opinion.

correct!!!!.....and with a new qb. One that can run and throw. Tn couldn't make a two yard first down when every team they have played had no problems with first downs.

A new QB would be like putting your finger in the hole of a leaking dam. Would not solve anything. As long as we have a marketing guy as HC, we won't win anything significant.

i think 75% of the problem is butch is being too loyal to dobbs. Other coaches disappoint senior qb's if they're not doing the job and dobbs hasn't done the job all year. I hate watching tn play and struggle all night, win or lose.

Dobbs is only 10% of the problem. We have worse problems on the O-line, secondary, linebackers, and almost every position. Our offense is as sluggish as a diabetic after eating a candy bar, Our defense is like a the easy girl next door, everybody scores! Our gameplans are as if a bunch of chimpanzees watched the film, and they pick plays based off of shapes. Our execution is like watching the Three Stooges attempt anything. And last but not least, our time management is like watching a bunch of city workers try to dig a hole.

Man.. I have stuck behind this team and butch jones and these coaches all along. But damn. I can officially say that I want the swimming coach gone. Whatever to make this team better. Even that means getting rid of butch too. I really don't even know what to think right now.

Seems as soon as the man puts on orange and starts talking about dusting off his britches or building bricks folks are sucked in until the house around them has burned down. Butch has improved talent on the team. After that, coaching not so much.

The senior tight end from Jones High School in Orlando, Fla., told GoVols247 late Sunday night that he committed to the Vols shortly after learning of his offer from them, choosing Tennessee over offers from Marshall, Florida International, Massachusetts, Florida A&M and Gardner-Webb.

I really think our present coach has his back up against the wall. I don't feel sorry for him. He is making over 4.1million a year he gets paid to make the tough decisions. With that being said, he los a 5 star wd from Georgia a fertile recruiting ground, and now a 5 star athlete who is the 2nd or 3rd leading rusher in Tennessee history. Let that sink we lost our own instate really going football player because of stubborness. We now have two deal with closed door in two most important recruiting states.

Nobody is going to do anything. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that Tennessee doesn't make big changes until it's too late.

If Butch has lost the team, and it seems like he has, then they should definitely fire him. Once they players quit on the HC, that's all she wrote until you clean house and you dang sure can't "fire" your roster and bring all new players in.
