When the day comes that you get retweeted by national media outlets/members by posing as a player's family member, holler at me.

It's not as easy as you want to make it out to be.

Clay Travis lurks this board, and has for a very long time. He was convinced by 74's info, which has steadily proven reliable, at the least.

Butch had 2 OC opportunities and 4 years to learn from his mistakes. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. He hasn't learned yet nor will he (and evidence proves this). I'm done. Next man up.

Yes I want Blackburn. You bring in an AD then the guy they end up hiring is "their guy" not the incumbent.

Blackburn is the answer. He loves this University and has proven he can do the job. Already made better basketball hires than we did.

Blackburn is tight with Butch? Didn't know that- never mind. We don't need that right now, unless he would put the university's best interest above his friendship with the head coach.

He hasn't been giving Kamara and Kelly touches to keep the Drama Queen Hurd happy, which you should never do as a coach (same issues that Rogers and crew started in 2011).

Kamara being a team player knew he had a prima donna partner in the backfield and bit his tounge and took the carries he could get without letting little miss priss get their panties in a wad.

Peace out, I guarantee letting all these "entitled" players on our roster walk will do nothing but improve the product on the field.

Go Vols, hope Butch makes a great OC hire this offseason and can get this thing back on track.

I'm going to go watch the replays of VT, UF and UGA now and forget the last month.:banghead2:

It's hard to fire a guy who has clearly improved our program. I'm not sure he's the guy to take us to the next level, what he does at OC will tell us a lot, but there are definitely reasons to be concerned. There are also reasons to be patient. A lot of what we have is still rumors. Should be an interesting press conference today

I am finding that nuance and what not are hard to find online when it comes to sports. People realize this can be BOTH Butch Jones's and Jalen Hurd's faults, right?

i would like to start with putting together a real offense. Butch has to change it man or his ass is gonna be ran outta here in a year or so. Tons of talent and use ike 3 players. Its lame as hell and predictable to watch. You can sit on your couch and tell your family what plays they are going to run right before it happens.

"winning the east" is pretty meaningless. From a recruiting stand point, you want to win out and go to a nice bowl and end on a high note. Sneaking into Atlanta for another beatdown isn't very appealing. Let Florida take the spanking for the second straight year at this point.

Hurd did tell teammates last night his intention was to transfer. At this point, if I were guessing he will leave.

However, Hurd has been talking to Tennessee personnel this morning including head coach Butch Jones.

That's why things are a little fluid right now and we are still chasing.

There has been some unhappiness/concerns from the Hurd camp for a while about his fit in this offense, how he was being used to the point that Hurd had transfer thoughts after last season.

Jones addressed the media at noon. He will have to address Hurd in some way.
