Oh, on that point I absolutely agree. I'm not sure transferring will help him at this point.

He's going to be a late round pick anyways, might as well get on his way to possibly earning that 2nd contract where you'll make the money.

It is so weird that he doesn't have more sacks in OOC games. He would already gave screamed by Reggie if he did. Miles G. feasts on those teams.

This is going to get ugly if true.

Again if true (big IF), I look for Jones to lose his job. There will be a backlash for playing Hurd with a concussion.

Well, that changed with the rumor that Hurd talked back to the coaches, and they sat him. A lot of things circulating, and I guess we will know status here soon.

Who knows what to believe, but it makes more sense that Hurd really was benched for a while during the GA game rather than having a concussion, but I agree that IF Butch let him play with a concussion- there could be a lawsuit coming. I remember some crazy rumor on a Bama board about that and most of us laughed but my god- what if that has some truth to it? And with Hurd already at odds with Butch, he could screw him as he walks out the door with something like this. Why can't anything be easy for us? Good god.

The curse of fulmer lives on...... can we not have a normal football season in Knoxville without a coach getting fired or a dozen different controversies or when the team is winning almost going into heart failure multiple times

Every fan of every other team in the SEC are laughing their butts off at us. They are so glad we have imploded. Nobody wants a strong Tennessee. Not the SEC..Not the NCAA..Not ESPN or any other media. A strong UT screws everything up. They have gotten what they wanted all along now. I hate this.

Best part of all these Hubbs rumors... everyone is focused on crap instead of the **** coaching job being mailed in by the head coach and his offensive staff.

What is Butch's calling card? Bc I sure as hell cant tell.
Is he a defensive guy? Offensive guy? If he has to can he take over a OFF or def meeting room ? Is he just a delegator?

Butch post game kept saying we had no explosive plays... hello d*ck head you don't throw down the field. You have two WRs over 6'3 and they're always within 10 yards of the LOS and usually running back towards the Los or completely stopped running a hitch.

They don't call any slants for Dobbs. And when they do, it's so rare that EVERYONE says "hey look a slant"

What on earth happened to Tyler Byrd yesterday? He had like one target. How is this possible?

I don't care if we put up a billion points the next 4 games vs these **** schools, there BETTER be some wholesale changes to the offense (staff & philosophy) this off season or we will be *****ing and moaning AGAIN next year

Or injuries on a supernatural scale..it is beyond comprehension how many we have suffered. I am not excusing this loss. But it is crazy how bad this is. The injuries have discombobulated everything. Josh Dobbs is almost singlehandedly responsible fir this one as far as screwing up so bad, but it is completely on Butch for not having the common sense to have somebody else ready to play in case he had a complete crap game. Especially since they know better than anybody how bad he sucks at throwing the ball. Anybody and everybody with any brains knew the defense was going to struggle with so many players hurt and gone. The staff had to know that they were going to need a lot of points to win. Or they are just absolutely stupid.

Oh I read some of it. The op starts out with several close to the program are reporting Hurd has left but gets called out cause he has no links, and no names. Your right solid gold. lol

The one about thirty players fighting over the newly available number 1 Jersey on offense and defense before Butch gave one to his son and the other to Austin Sanders?

That's definitely the only rumor I'll be believing...
