I hate the feeling of having a lame duck coach that you know is never going to win a championship of any kind here.

The same feeling I had Dooley's last few years. We'll keep Butch around a couple more years, while everyone knowing that 9 wins is our ceiling.

UT needs to pony up and pay for a coach that's going to win here. I'm sick of mid major level coaching.

Give me a new OC, and I'm ready to roll. I've given Debord some leash, but we need to see something happening on offense.

Butch has to turn a hot OC loose, and I think we are ready to roll once Shoop gets to play with starting defense capacity players.

Shoop has done an abysmal job of gameplanning and having his team ready to play.

There was one poster here last year saying that changing DCs was a risk while others were too damn busy doing the shoop da doop. It has been a massive failure and don't give me sorry ass injury excuses. That defense last night was LOADED with experience all over the field and still was a massive failure.

The only way we lose that game last night is by turning the ball over and commiting stupid penalties.

Naturally, Dobbs turns it over 3 times and we have double digit penalties.

Mahoney is on an expiring contract. If it was going to be renewed, it would have been when the others were renewed. I like Don, like his family. Writing is graffiti on the wall in that area.
I can't tell you how much longer DeBo wants to coach. He's been doing it for parts of four decades and really is a good family man (and I know no one wants to hear that right now, and trust me, as someone who still holds a grudge that Fredi didn't unleash Kimbrel against the Dodgers, I get that). He's underpaid for the SEC market --- who you blame for that is totally your call.
I've said and written there will be staff turnover, and it is absolutely imminent as this season winds to its conclusion.

I want to hear why we kicked the FG.

In the presser, CBJ said he went to Medley, who said "I can do it, Coach," so CBJ went with that. Even though Medley is very inconsistent at making long FGs in-game.

Also, Dobbs has been making poor decisions the past three weeks, so the coaches probably didn't trust him to make a play.

Will Muschamp 5-0 against Tennessee.

The loss is so terribly bad and inexcusable.

We lost to what should be a senior High School QB.

Dobbs was terrible.

Lyles days could be numbered.

First two points is what I just cannot get over!! Its beyond pathetic!! I just hope the coaches and players are feeling just half the anguish the fans are!

Jancek's not as good a DC...plenty of similar rants AGAINST him. The best way to be considered a great coach on this board is to coach somewhere else. :)

Except for 2 in secondary (inexperience), 1 LB (good position but a little slow) and DT rotation (undersized)

Apparently Butch has looked at all the stats other than medleys percent over 50.

Hopefully Kyle Phillips saw he can make himself some money at DT last night. He had a pretty good game.

Shoop has not been a failure.

We are 6-1 with a halfway competent offense. His defense isnt good enough to carry an offense too.

Shoop gets a pass due to the injuries. He needs to be better at game planning but we are always flat in Q1. We have seen him make great adjustments.

Shoop has TWO things I HATE.

Why blitz but play off coverage?

And why the hell are insistent on putting safeties on slot men? What got us beat in OT versus Texas A&M. Same thing happened to Warrior on the TD. Route combination was made to beat that coverage. I've never seen CBs not have near picks in games but we aren't close to generating turnovers. Don't know why but we aren't remotely close. Smh

Good point on lack of position for picks.

Hey BB do you think that bringing in Shoop and not letting him bring in his own guys is the biggest problem, trying to mesh two different philosophies, with Shoop being the brain but maybe not having his guys to teach it his way?

who cares if we chose fg or hail mary at 5 seconds from 40 yds out? it was desperation time, thats the issue. there are 59 minutes and 55 seconds full of reasons that it doesnt matter which desperation bull $#it attempt we made.

Shoop is not the problem at all. How many times did he get the offense the ball back last night only to have to watch the offense choke? It's time for a new OC. Please god let us hire an art briles disciple

2 in the secondary?

Warrior was the only without experience once martin came in early in the game and the coaches are fools for not playing warrior at safety sooner this season to develop him. Hell Abernathy and TKjr were playing safety up 3 scores inside of 5 minutes vs VATech. Malpractice not playing warrior at safety before the Bama game one damn single play.
