Fear the Walking Dead

Not really a spoiler but I'll wrap it anyway.
Daniel is still alive but you won't see him until next year.

You always have to ask...did they really die? Is this on good authority? Maybe I missed a hint because I skimmed the last episodes.

Hadn't watched the Talking Dead when I posted that so I agree with you. Would be cheaper than anything TWD has done yet to have Chris survive. Maybe I was basing it on the older show viewing experience. If you don't SEE them die...maybe they didn't? :). Watching it I thought it might be from their perspective.

I knew he was a goner...saw him playing a new character on Marvels Agents of Shield. He is Ghost Riders brother. Supposed to be a new show coming out soon.

As a reformed comic book nerd, I hated what Nicholas Cage did to Ghost Rider.

Even though Agents made Ghost Rider Drive a car instead of a motorcycle, I think they picked a good actor. The car is kinda badarse too...

Actually there can be more than one at once, and since Marvel owns the rights now, it's not out of the question that Johnny Blaze can still show up in one of the shows and/or movies.

FYI they did introduce the Johnny Blaze version of Ghost Rider last night, though it was only a very quick glimpse to show how Robbie got his powers.

It may mean a future Ghost Rider show or movie.

Is this really surprising?

With over a month to go before its June 4th Season Three premier AMC has renewed Fear the Walking Dead for a 4th Season to air in 2018.

In addition, Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg (Once Upon a Time) are boarding as co-showrunners, starting with season four. Additionally, Scott M. Gimple, executive producer and showrunner of The Walking Dead will become an executive producer of Fear the Walking Dead.

I really wanted this show to focus on everything in the initial stages of the breakout. Once it became walking dead west (about halfway through last season), I haven't watched another episode.

It was inevitable that it would move past the initial breakout, but it really annoyed me when they skipped 2 weeks in season 1.

I honestly thought they were only planning on like 2 seasons and would do a pre breakout thing up until about the same time as Rick woke up, but once they announced season 3 and were already passed the breakout after like 5 episodes, I was pretty much done.

Actually yeah, it is a little surprising considering the ratings have consistently gone down and reviews for last season weren't very good.

I personally don't really even care about this show anymore because none of the characters are that great and the writing is pretty blah.

The only thing going for this show is that it comes on during the summer when nothing else is really on. I'll still be watching to see if it goes anywhere.

Reminder:

Fear the Walking Dead premiers Sunday night on AMC with a 2 & 1/2-hour Season Three Premier!

With the way their rating ranked in the second half last year I'm shocked they are attempting 2.5 hour premier.

That's what soured me on Fear. I was excited because it was supposed to show the collapse. The time jump ruined the show for me. I still haven't watched the second half of last season and probably won't for a long time.

Character development has been horrible. I stopped watching because I didn't care about the story, plotlines, and who lived or died. It's just a putrid show.

The new trailers look like they are upping the story line intensity. Hopefully it will be a marked improvement.

Won't really hold my breath...

I'll probably watch on DVR because there isn't as much on this time of year, but I'm not really looking forward to it very much, and it really doesn't seem like it creating much buzz. Even WD fans don't really seem to care about it very much.

There are only 3 interesting characters on the show, Nick, Strand, and Madison(the mom) and even some of them are questionable at times. Towards the end of last season Ophelia started getting interesting.
