Maybe they shouldn't have kicked O'Brien off the team. Wonder why gas mask Tunsil wasn't kicked off of Ole Miss for failing a drug test. Wonder why Cam Robinson wasn't kicked off of Bama for being caught with weed and a stolen gun. Sometimes you have to bend the rules for some players if your back is against the wall. All the top coaches are doing it and we'll be screwed if Butch isn't.

Agreed.

Luckily none of our remaining opponents have showed much in the way of offense. Kentucky will have some spark but the others not so much.

Either way, we definitely need Kongbo to step up and show out at DT

It wasn't his first time. He had plenty of chances. He chose to do it again, now he's gone. I give the guy credit, he manned up and took reponsibilty for his actions.

Agree that it's hardly optional, but wevlines him up there some last year when it wasn't an emergency type situation.

Both Kongbo and Alexis Johnson have got to get at least solid and serviceable. Tuttle is the one who has to flash some dominance because I think he's really the only one who can given who we're playing with.

Butch had to have made a deal with the Devil to get those wins at the last second at the beginning of the season in exchange for injuries in the middle of the season. That's the only thing I can think of that can justify all these injuries

Not a bad idea. I'd like to see Big Charles used somewhere. I think I saw him on a special teams play yesterday??? Seemed slow trying to catch a returner; but he may do well clogging the middle of the line.

Yeah it may be time to move him there considering he's not even in the 2 deep at OG. A guy as big as him needs to see the field somewhere.

At this point and at this rate, I'll take 8 wins and a bowl game. Forget the east and facing Bama again. Hell, I hope we can take 3 of our remaining games.

Would be the most disappointing season since 2012. But with all the injuries, 8-4 or 9-3 is very likely

He's already played earlier this year, vs VaTech. And now with the injuries at DT, can't imagine he's not in the DL plans the last 5 games of the season. While I agree with you that was the initial plan, we really have no choice to burn the redshirt now.
