Butch has to be the luckiest coach ive ever seen. Legacy recruiting classes. getting to follow a guy who makes maintaining the APR look like an accomplishment. And then the weakest SEC east since divisions and still might not win it.

Pixie dust, bullcrap. this team is injured because it is constantly out of position and the offense keeps throwing the defense under the bus.

It's called a Fugazi

Couldnt abandon the run? We had 33 total yards rushing bro!!!!

We woulda had -133 yards bro if we did. What the hell would you of done? Wake the hell up. We weren't going to move the ball on them regardless what we called. They were winning the line of scrimmage all game. Just the way it ****ing is. It sucks.

Agree.

I have personally heard from three players mouths how much they hate the offensive formation.

How the way they line up is stupid.

I know every team has pissed off players but there are a lot of players who don't buy into the system anymore.

The 'system' is basically hoping Dobbs can evade hits long enough for the coverage to break down and banking on the running backs making absurd plays.

Like last week and against Florida?

Jesus it's ridiculous. One bad week with a depleted roster against the best coach in college football and now Butch Jones sucks or people who thought that were proven right.

We were beaten up going into the game. Subs in O-line playing against the top defense in the nation (not that starters are exactly earth movers). I don't think they move the ball with such ease with JRM and CS...even DO. I'm not happy but not really surprised...and not ready to fire Butch. I did take the points.

Come on, you're smarter than this.

This season is a Hail Mary and a missed field goal away from being a complete, unmitigated disaster. And this is supposed to be the year we take a big step forward. When is it happening? Probably never.

Good lord people why is this so difficult? We are a team that is decimated by injuries. We faced the #1 team in the country whose defense might be one of the all time greatest.

Many are trying to figure out who to blame and nobody is really to blame.

And last year we are a bad PI call, 4th and 16th and incomplete pass on 3rd down from being 11-1 and playing in Atlanta. It goes both way.

Funny how some people thought Florida would crush us. We beat them and then of course they suck.

I must have missed that. Im sure there was some skeptics after the first 3 games. Im not sure why there wouldn't be. UF is a decent team at the time I dont think anyone felt UT would lose because UF was good.

Yeah, the Florida loss was almost entirely on Butch last year. But you knew that. Blowing a game by coaching scared isn't the same as winning on hail mary.

You're letting your emotions cloud reality. The reality is we beat FL and UGA when they were down. Now IDGAF that they are down- just like nobody cut us any slack when Dooley was here and we were everyone's whipping boy. But the fact is, we beat down teams, and had to pull of miracles to do it. Add in OT with Appy, and and absolute dismantling by Alabama, and this team is not anywhere near good enough to compete for a national title, which is where people were expecting given how things were stacking in our favor.

Fulmer beat Georgia when they were down. Meyer beat Tennessee when they were down. Richt beat Florida when they were down.

Somebody find me since 1992 when Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia were all at the top of their game. Maybe 2006-2008?

Butch coaches georgia?

No...greatest hire of the offseason (sigh), coaching the greatest player in the SEC (sigh) with the greatest OC (sigh) and of course the greatest OL coach (sigh). If only we had hired them! We'd have won state! :cray:

There's been a difference between being 'down', and being so terrible you lose to Vanderbilt and almost lose to Nichols.

I know you don't believe what you're saying.

I blame Jancek for that game. Butch should have gone for two. We gave up five fourth downs. Butch fired the guy that played conservative.

I don't think Butch is a great coach but I'm really getting tired of people who think he sucks or is lucky or doesn't know what he's doing. Dude took over after the worst coach in program and by year four is gonna have us in Atlanta with 10 wins. It's sad. But hey his offense sucks and the East is worst than ever and we are lucky blah blah blah. Luck other than the top three teams is always a factor. Go talk to Clemson today.

Ok? What you are saying makes no difference but I agree I guess.
