I read that McKenzie and Holbert suffered knee injuries in the scrimmage. Does anyone know how serious they are?

Holbert's is terrible. All three ligaments are torn. He got McGahee'd.

McKenzie's is a sprain. Nothing serious

:lolabove: I won't lie, I tried to click on it

On a more serious note, that is terrible news. Not because I thought he would make a big impact, but just because I feel so bad for the guy.

Atleast he got a good education.

I had heard Mckenzie's was only a sprain but hadn't heard about Holberts. This is about what I expected though, by the reaction of the players and the time he spent on the field. When they said they heard it pop, that is never a good sign.

Justin, do you know if he was on his 5th year of eligibility? I think he was. I also think he might can get a 6th year if the NCAA will give him approval. Do you know?

2 knee injuries back to back. Doubt he ever plays football ever again. Especially with the injury he just had. It would be a miracle.

If you had a chance to watch Holbert's injury on the news, it looked gruesome. I wouldn't expect him to be playing anytime soon.

The only bad thing about McKenzie's is he was in a good position battle with Myers-White. Those guys could've pushed each other.

He was a 5th year senior. It's a shame.

Do we really know if we are using a true tight end or will it be more of a H-back?

Austin Johnson is being looked at a little at FB but the coaches like him at MLB too.

Yeah, I understand that was the intentions when Johnson was recruited, to play him at MLB. This probably does up Bartholomew's chances at playing time when he arrives this summer. I think he probably stood a chance at some playing time anyways. I think he is pretty versatile and also a beast.

Hey Justin, you changed your avatar. Is that nature boy?

It might be in Holbert's best interest not to try and come back even if he can. He got an education. Even if he is able to recover from this injury, it probably isn't worth risking further life-altering knee injuries. Better to be able to live a comfortable mobile life than be using a cane in your twenties... But I guess those sort of situations are common in some retired professional football players anyway.

I think Johnson will eventually be a DE.

I changed it to Ric because he officially retired last night.
