2016 Election Thread Part Deux

I don't post here often but I think some either know, or could easily look up, who I "cynically support".

If you had to sit in front of a tax professional, with no one else in the room, you're paying the lowest number they can find, and making plans for the extra savings just like the rest of us. Type up all of the righteous liberal facade you'd like.

Just like Warren Buffet, Mark Cuban, Bill Clinton, and countless other self righteous pretenders.........

The argument made by many on here is:

"People who don't pay taxes (typically they mean either income or property), should not be allowed to vote".

Yet they are voting for a man who brags about not paying income taxes.

Trump doesn't pay taxes?

You guys need to figure this **** out. Either people pay taxes or they don't...

Illegals pay taxes but Trump doesn't....

Another case of twisted word syndrome.

Haven't you always advocated that illegals who don't pay income taxes do in fact pay taxes through other means?

Huh. Got em.

Sincerely,
Al B. Damm

So by his own logic, repeated ad nauseum, Trump has paid a thousand times more taxes than HRC...because he is a billionaire with many billions in real property assets. Also a mega consumer...paying a fortune in sales tax.

The difference is that I've never claimed people not paying income tax should not be allowed to vote. Many others on here have. Yet, they want this guy who brags about not paying income taxes to be president

Um, so illegal immigrants are not being allowed to vote.

Illegal immigrants have been bum rushing the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services so that they could vote against Trump since July of last year. 2015 saw a 15% increase in Hispanic applications for citizenship. 2016 has seen over 1 million Hispanics applying for U.S. citizenship. Not only did Trump make the issues between Trump and Hispanics worse, he grew the amount of them that will vote.

Illegal immigrants are bum rushing us citizenship? I'll need a link for that

Shocking I tell you...

White House coordinated with State Department, Clinton campaign on email issue, documents show | Fox News

Newly disclosed emails show top Obama administration officials were in close contact with Hillary Clinton’s nascent presidential campaign in early 2015 about the potential fallout from revelations that the former secretary of state used a private email server.

Their discussion included a request from the White House communications director to her counterpart at the State Department to see if it was possible to arrange for Secretary of State John Kerry to avoid questions during media appearances about Mrs. Clinton’s email arrangement.

In another instance, a top State Department official assured an attorney for Mrs. Clinton that, contrary to media reports, a department official hadn’t told Congress that Mrs. Clinton erred in using a private email account.

Sorry, but it's true.

If you're a cynical, self-interested Donald Trump voter, then that's your problem. I just wish you wouldn't make it mine as well, but I have no choice in that.

My model of the ideal American citizen is that of the Roman patrician male, almost like our Founding Fathers or something. Not a geek who happily refuses to pay any taxes to the fatherland.

Again, for the tenth time, the issue is not willingly paying more than expected; the issue is paying at all.

I don't understand what is so difficult to grasp about this concept.

I just have to remind myself that I'm attempting a rational dialogue with Trump voters. It's the only thing that helps make sense out of this.

I'm not a liberal. Liberals don't say their ideal of the American citizen is the Roman patrician male. And I'm paying my federal taxes.
