Funny how Kamara gets more gashing plays and always has while he's been here. And I love to watch Hurd run at Tennessee but I've noticed that.

Personally I think hurd's size makes it harder to hit holes, and I think kamara has better vision. There's times where Hurd could either cut it up field or bounce outside, but seems to either be indecisive or not see it.

I think it's more along those lines than guys not blocking for him.

Not sure what it is about Hurd that makes people so speculative (not talking about you... just in general).

From recruiting, to the citation for drinking, to the transfer thing, it always seems like there's drama there. Could be the outspokenness of family members I guess. Seems like they prefer to comment to people rather than stay under the radar.

I also see Kamara get pulled down with one arm by cornerbacks that Hurd runs right through. Caveat to that is AK also has a higher YPC at UT. But he's never carried the load an entire game.

This may just be the game though to use AK like he was in JUCo and stay away from the DL interior.

We can make it work.

I don't think I have ever seen someone get tackled by the neck so many times. Not saying it in a bad way, but Kamara got pulled down by the neck at least 3 times in the UGA game. He had to be sore on Sunday.

this.

Its almost like our coaches like giving up downs on those runs that we know rarely get more than a yard.

I think with hurd out the coaches might actually start depending more on dobbs from the start rather than waiting until we're down 17-21 points.

get

kamara fits our scheme better. He's a quick darting rb that's perfect for a spread zone running scheme.

Jalen is a thumping downhill runner made for a pro style i-formation scheme. He would be perfect at a school like lsu or michigan.

Doug Matthews on midday 180 just said championship caliber football teams would have gotten a stop on the late UGA touchdown.

Also said we didn't play good offensively, defensively or in the kicking game.

Championship caliber teams never make mistakes I guess?

Here's what I know. 5 - 0

I'd say championship caliber teams are teams where they don't play well offensively, defensively, or in special teams and still win on the road in the SEC against a top 25 rival.

But that's JMO ☕️🐸

Not to mention we're down 3 of our top 5 defensive players and played almost the whole second half without our starting running back. But whatevs

Kamara and Kelly are a lot better fits for this offense. I've never been that big of a fan of Hurd. He's good but not elite like most people act like on here. Yeah he has gotten hit behind the LOS quite a few times but let's be real here....he also has horrible field vision. Kelly and Kamara have much better field vision....they also don't go down most of the time when someone lays one finger on them.

Championship caliber football teams also find ways to cover up their mistakes and win. 5 and ZERO dougie fresh

Regarding Vol74

If we win out all the way through the national title, our overall winning streak would be 21

Colton jumper is number 53

53 + 21 = _________?

Need I say more?

I'm not that down on Hurd but I would like to see John Kelly get more touches

I feel almost completely opposite about Kamara. He seems to have great balance. I think he's able to absorb hits that knock most guys down, and maintain his balance to gain some more yards. His TD from Saturday was a prime example. Also, he took a couple of shots Saturday where the crowd "ooooh"'ed and, while he didn't gain a lot more ground, he actually kept his feet and got a little more out of it.

its amazing how negative this place is. I thought when we got back to relevance it would completely different than this but its not. Its tough in here.

Am I the only one that sees the Georgia defender (#24) not being blocked by Jack Jones on that play? It looked like it could have gotten blown up if he completes the pass.

Yes, he could have. If Hurd turns, plants a foot and changes directions, then I think he would have gone for a while. We have seen Hurd do it before. It reminds me of the screen pass on 4th down against USC in 2014.

I agree his balance is super good. Hurd's is as well.

I do remember one time in the UGA game Kamars turned the corner & the defender was engaged in a block & just threw his arm our & basically closelined Kamara. No way he should be brought down by that.

I think that's the thing. Without those guys, calling us a championship team is a tough sell to me.

Of course, the great thing is that we still control our own destiny.

A lot of people thrive on negativity and drama. They just change the things they're negative and dramatic about as the situation dictates.

It's been rough around here.

You hush yo mouth now.

Thing is if we can at least split these next two we could still have a good shot at the playoffs. And by then we could have possibly all of them back by then. I'm probably least confident about getting JRM back.

Stakes are suddenly high and we're without many of our best players. I think people are just on guard against a letdown vs A&M.
