I'm hopeful he can change his current reputation from Jumper to Thumper. He has a lot of work to do.

Watching the game, he did a lot of running around and watching others make tackles... I was watching with two Auburn fans and they started making a game of where's waldo/where's Jumper... It is not just us who see's he is not up to par for the SEC in that position... they had fun calling what he would do before the snap and would be dead nuts right... they laughed at how many times JRM actually had to come around Jumper to make a tackle... he couldn't get off a single block... maybe something will finally give Saturday.

Handy piece of info to include imo.

"How Must-Win is Florida" has a decent write-up.
95% of the replies aren't discussing the article, just shaking pitchforks. But the write-up itself is decent.

It's not pitchforks to say if he can't beat Austin Appleby at home with an upperclassmen laden roster then he's not the guy for the job.

There was a lot of different points discussed in the article. Almost no one responded to anything but the title. Be honest, how many responded and never even read the article?

Do you really believe that anyone has not made their opinion clear on this game. There was just more to the article than having the same posters say the exact same things for the 100th time.

Had someone tell me the same. But said they just call it a Pabst up there, and they're not sure why we call it pbr.

I don't know how you all are friends with from Wisconsin. Maybe they're a bit older, but as a recent college graduate from there, everyone calls it PBR.

PBR may be considered a premium "college" beer, but people over 25+ do not order PBR when they go to bars. They will never get a PBR over say a Miller Lite/Bud Light or they will get Spotted Cow. Spotted Cow is a Wisconsin delicacy that cannot be sold outside state borders, but it is wildly popular. Be sure to order if you're ever up in the northwoods visiting.

I love PBR! I think it's better than any of the bud, Miller cheap varieties. There are many better beers in the world, but not for the price.

Jumper not being able to shed blocks is what I noticed first. If someone gets their hands on him it's a wrap. Every time.

I read the article. I'm sure a lot did not read it. It's as must win as they come for jones though

Wonder why Robertson spot seems to be untouchable? He's looked like one of the worst of all the OL

It was said, early on, he was trying to protect Drew even when that wasn't what he was supposed to do. He's played better in last 2 games.

Yea, that came from ESPN's on field analyst for the Ohio game. I don't even think he said he asked anyone about it; he said he watched tape. He said it appeared to him that Robertson was shading toward Richmond to help him, which left the middle exposed if Thomas whiffed, which he did.

I understand trying to help your freshman tackle, but I have always heard that the line blocks from inside out. Defenders get to the QB quicker up the middle. Plus, Dobbs can step up if a DE gets around quickly. There was a sack in the Ohio game where Coleman missed at RT, but Dobbs could have stepped up and run the ball. Everyone has to execute.

That was the worst broadcast of any Tenn game I can remember. I didn't buy what he was selling with Robertson.

Getting Chance Hall back reduces the variables on the O-line. He and Kendrick are competent at their jobs. So the emphasis moves inside with Wiesman, Robertson, Thomas, Jones and possibly Boulware. Personally I like Wiesman, Robertson and Jones until proven otherwise. Hall and Jones have chemistry on the right going back to last season as do Kendrick and Robertson on the left. Thomas having two bum ankles also tells me Wiesman at C. There is no reason to see plays blown up because of Butch/Debored's infatuation with a banged up Thomas.

As much as I got sick of the jet sweep the last couple of years, I actually wouldn't mind seeing it with Evan Berry or Tyler Byrd this weekend.

My sister-in-law from Wisconsin always brings cases of Spotted Cow down for the family when she visits. Very good beer. I didn't realize it was only sold inside the state.

Asking for some prayers from Vol Nation for a family close to us. Heading to a funeral for their friend 18 yo daughter that was killed in a car wreck this past weekend. She was in her first semester at WVU and on scholarship for their row team. Her dad just returned from his second tour in Afganistan 3 weeks ago. Gonna be a rough day!!

Man. Def. some much needed perspective with everything going on.

Definitely thinking about that family.

Yes and yes as far as I know. Maybe Butch is going to put Byrd in Abernathy's spot this week on kickoff. That's the only thing that makes since to me given what Butch said about Byrd.
