Boasting about being 3-0 at this point in our season is like saying "scoreboard" after escaping with a W vs a garbage team. All 3-0 means is we've beaten who we're suppose to beat, nothing more. It's a hollow rally cry for the blind that choose to ignore the reality which is upon us. This team is broken... talent squandered. Our fate was sealed the moment Butch Jones offered the OC position to his old buddy/mentor Debored. It was further cemented when coach Jones failed to fire and replace coach Z for malpractice like treatment of our WR position.

Inb4 this is a fire butch jones post because it's not. It's a reality check for those hanging their hat on 3-0. Wake up people. I promise, your eyes aren't lying to you.

Well since this is coming from UT's #1 fan, I guess we all should get ready for basketball season (sarcasm).

I will never understand those who still can't just enjoy a Vol football game or simply enjoy success as it comes..It is much more fun to be a fan when you do..
Here's hoping whenever the Vols lose you can celebrate it as heartily as you criticize the wins....

It's Florida week, we're 3-0, and we're favored by 7.5. Remind me what I'm supposed to be upset about again?

It's actually been a while since we've beat our quality out of conference match up, so yeah 3-0 is definitely something to be excited about.

If UT finds a way to win, that's all that I care about, and so far this team is 3-0 with a chance to be 4-0!

Are we supposed to feel upset at being undfeated?

Should we not lineup and play Florida?

If our own fans can't respect the fact that we're winning and sitting at 3-0, why should anyone feel sorry for us when we start to lose? Just let that sink in.

That's easy, some of our "fans" aren't happy with anything. It's so much easier to critique and dissect every little thing and read too much into everything. It's been a sloppy 3-0, but I'll gladly take it over where we were this time a few years ago. We would have been 1-2 at best because we gave up when the other teams started putting some serious points on us early. Why would any sane fan of any sport bash their own players like we do? Spoiled fan base is spoiled.

To have the audacity to compare a football team/game to the most tragic attack on Americans and American soil in modern day history only validates my sentiment that you responded to in my post(which was a general sense of sadness for a broad crowd)..Your moniker is obviously a sarcastic one and as I stated before, and will repeat (again, not aimed at you personally but if you took it that way, so be it). I pity those who cannot simply enjoy the Vols current success, but instead look forward to any Vol failure as vindication for some asinine theory that not totally demolishing underdog opponents equates to massive disappointment..
