This is what I am taking about Vol Nation, Williams goes to South Carolina on a weekend visit and she doesn't leave until Dawn Staley gets her on the dotted line!!! We must seal the deal while the recruits are on campus. Lets go TN staff. Evans must sign, to get the ball rolling, because TN is her final scheduled visit!!!

I didn't think Williams was coming here in the first place. For a while, the only recruits we've been constantly hearing about on this board is KK, Dodson, Patterson, Hayes, Harrison, Evans and McKinney. Now if we don't sign at least 3 or 4 from this group, we are in trouble again. I also don't think Westbrook is coming here and I also don't think Jade Williams is coming here. Losing L. Williams to SC is not surprising.

L. Williams was SC's to lose. Her mom really liked Tennessee but she really liked SC. Not surprising. Jade Williams is a long shot but Westbrook is very much in play for us. We were of her earliest suitors, have an Oregon connection and all the people close to the team have stated Tennessee have as good of shot as any for Evina. We are in good shape people.

FYI, the recruits don't actually sign now. They give a verbal, non-binding commitment only. Signing dates for the national letter of intent are Nov 9-16 for the early period and April 12 - May 17 for the regular period.

Look at it this way... this puts you in much better shape with Kushkituah. We still potentially have 2 spots left but I don't think we'll take Williams and KK in this class. I would be SHOCKED if so..

I must say I'm impressed on how Dawn Staley has totally turned around the SC Women's basketball program. She is now recruiting nationally after she had a few elite recruits right in the backyard that help turn around the program. I remember Kara Lawson did an Interview saying they use to fly in the day before to play SC. From the attendance to getting good players and not being arrogant or disrespectful, I applaud Dawn Staley. Also I think the battle for KK is between Tennessee and UGA.

i am somewhat nervous especially when i start seeing more and more players committing elsewhere. i'm anxious to know how the visit went for the four recruits that visited this weekend.

By looking at film and reading evaluations, Patterson is still considered a very good player. She is still high on Tennessee's list regardless of ranking.
