You think CW was more talented then Jamal Lewis?
Chuck Webb was one of those gifted talents that embody the "once in a generation" monikers. May never see anything like him again at Tennessee. Measurables like speed, height and weight aren't what defined him. There have been running backs that have measured better than Barry Sanders, but he's generally considered the best pure runner in NFL history...Gale Sayers being second. Like Sayers, Webb's knee deprived us of more than a taste of pure thrilling highlights. Unlike Sayers, there was better medical technology. Jamal Lewis (to his credit), put in the work and came back from TWO knee injuries. Of course he had even more advanced medicine at his disposal, but he also put in the work. I believe most fans that have seen both would lean to Webb...just for the art.

Good points, but I personally still favor Jamal. His Freshman game against Georgia still gives me chills just thinking about. I think he rushed for 235 yards that day.
