how would you rank em?

mine would be

UGA - best showing against a good team but it took a while
UT - sleep walked to a lucky win but glimpses of deep talent.
USC/UF - mud wrestled some pigs to victory
UK - looked like the prom queen with some beers but woke to a coyote
Mizzou - 1st down and 7 yards from goal line: scoreless
apathetic offense is apathetic
Vandy - Vandy

UK looked like the best east team early and then had an epic collapse or they could have been three way for the middle. UT should maybe be in that tie also but we have the talent.

you are probablly right to have Vandy above Mizzou but I just see them finding a way to lose to Mizzou if they played tomorrow.

I think the bottom four are close. Agreed on UK, I thought they were going to run away with it but had an EPIC meltdown, even for Kentucky.

UGA had a lot of help from lousy officiating, but Chubb had a good night. And we all know our woes after Thursday.

UGA - Showed up and beat a ranked team.
UT - Need to show up to the big games now. 1st game can be attributed to 1st week jitters.
UF - Got the job done, even if was against a bad team and not entirely convincing at times.
-------Clear Gap between those 3, and the rest-----------
USCjr - At least they got a win?
Vandy - At least they lost to a SEC team and kept it close. Still ugly.
Missouri - At least they lost to a P5 team, although they clearly are regressed from past seasons.
UK - As a whole, worst week 1 performance BY FAR. Showed potential, but showed typical weaknesses.

Can't argue with this

This all day. The pass interference calls, the downfield receiver call-compounded by the call against the coach-all in about 5 minutes. Totally got UGA back in that game. I don't like either one, but that was a shame to see.

It's hard to believe the east may be even worse than last year.

And yet this is what Jones had to say:

"I think this is the most complete the East side has been from top to bottom in a long, long period of time," Jones said. "Anyone is capable of winning in our conference. You have to bring you're A game week in and week out."

A team as experienced as UT shouldn't have 1st game jitters. Georgia didn't

UGA- Chubb back and looks great def worried about them you know he's gonna come out with a vengeance against us.

Vols- talents there on the field, but overlooked a solid team and should of lost.

Florida-looked bad against a horrible UMass team

USC- their kicker has a leg on him?

Vandy- I think their D might actually help the pull off a win against UK and Mizzou.

UK
Mizzou these 2 together at the bottom of the east

1a. UT (experience, talent and depth)
1b. UGA (Chubb and a talented freshman QB)
2. UF (still has talent)
3. UK (has a good foundation and can score points)
4. USC (good kicker...bad offense)
5. Missouri (still has some talent especially at RB)
6. Vandy (defense is good but nothing else)

Eason is legit..UNC didn't get to him much...If we don't the guy can make the throws. I had us losing to them and I didn't see anything yesterday to change that opinion.

1 UGA
2 Vols
3 Florida
4 USCe
5 Kentucky
6 Vandy
7 Missouri

The main concern for Florida and Tennessee is they showed the same damn problems they had last year

UGA's defense looked solid. Although UNC's QB play looked underwhelming. We need to see how their offense will function against a team that didn't finish 121st in rushing defense.
