Depth Chart released

Probably because they threw at him way more than the others. Teams typically stayed away from Cam and threw at Moseley early and often...As far as Martin he missed games early in the season so his stats would be a little less.

No remember Cam took last year off because he was getting ready for the draft and didn't want to get hurt

Colton Jumper caused Florida's first TD and his holding penalties resulted in Oklahoma's tying TD in the 4th quarter.

Starting Jumper over Kirkland cost us those first 2 games.

You're wrong about KMac but I agree with you on Jumper. That was a dumb move to ever play him

I also cringe when I see Moseley starting. Would rather have Martin opposite Cam. JMO

If Moseley has had the better camp, he has earned the start. I am assuming at this point that many of Moseley's problems was being lined out wrong, and hope he has matured in the past season.

But if he continues to get beat? We have more viable options than before.

The problem with depth charts are that they are completely useless. They'll only tell you who plays in the first snap. We need a flow chart to properly describe who plays when.

I'm not concerned about the depth chart. I look at it as if these are the only players that will get any significant playing time.
But the one thing that scares me is how they gonna rotate the Center, RT, RG positions. And the fact they are unsure with the QB situation is strange. It's like they may predict that Dobbs might get hurt, start Dormandy but pull him out if he struggles just once. Reminds me of the Peterman situation

He made more tackles than Sutton and Martin did last year...but hey keep on hating...and if you get a chance tell Shoop and Butch that they are idiots for naming him the starter

Nobody said all that

Get a hold of yourself, good God.

Half this thread is up in arms at how in the world Moseley can be starting...guy is not a bad CB and you guys act like you know more than the coaches...its sorta pathetic

You know most of us want to know who's in the 2 deep, they usually take the most snaps. Let us know when you finish that flow chart.

He also had better stats than Hargreaves

Presented is a cornerback who fought his way through depth under a snap limitation that emerged in Knoxville, but Moseley amazingly did his work as a true freshman. Seriously, how much of an impact could an 18-year-old really have had in defensive coverage? He simply allowed a lower completion percentage (36.0 vs. 43.9), yards/coverage snap (0.66 vs. 0.68), and coverage snap/reception allowed (12.1 vs. 13.6) than Florida’s Vernon Hargreaves III. The sky is the limit for this sophomore out of Greensboro, North Carolina.
Keep yo facts to yoself

yep facts are getting in the way of some of our "experts" opinions :)

Moseley got beat by the following people for TDs

Matt Dieter BG. 55 yards Td

Reggie Davis UGA 63 yards Td

Sterling Shepherd OU game tying Td

Antonio Callaway UF Game winning TD.

That's just off the top of my head.

Remember those 25 points Butch has been looking for. Well.

Look the kid needs to be better. Because...BECAUSE he has the ability to be better!

Stop defending something that shouldn't be.

I believe Shoop will help him reach his potential.

How do you know those were his fault? It's possible that it could have been zone and he had underneath coverage and the safety blew it.

You just named some really good WRs.

If he's gonna compare Moseley to Vernon Hargreaves and Cam Sutton, then he should be able to guard those guys.

Dieter had almost 200 yards against Moseley.

Now Dieter is with Bama and Ridley. So Moseley is gonna get his shot again.

Because i watched the games.

Sutton got beat a few teams last year.

Moseley got targeted a lot. But if he wasn't talented Shoop wouldn't have him out there.

He just has to trust his reads better in the game.

Maybe Moseley struggled because he had mono and it takes a full year to recover but hey I'm no doctor.

I saw Moseley play his freshman year. He has NFL talent. No doubt in my mind. He's inconsistent just like Martin who got burned also. I'm worried about the #2 spot but it's nice to have two guys with that kind of talent battling it out.

Ok. You've convinced me. Kahlil isn't a bust.

This is just another stupid coaching decision by Butch Jones. Just like going for a FG on the 6 inch line or going for 1 when you're up less than 2 scores.

Butch Jones....master of pulling defeat out of the jaws of victory.

Shoop turned a bunch of scrubs at Penn State in to the #2 ranked defense in the country. Absolutely whipped Ohio State that year defensively. Something Alabama couldn't do. Pardon me if I value his opinion more than a bandwagon fan with an agenda.

No doubt he has the ability and has shown it in flashes...remember he was a 2/3 star skinny QB out of HS I think he is going to have a great year under Shoop

Oh he was comparing him, ok. That's different. I dont see it as a bad thing him starting tho. I think he played pretty well at times and will get better. Plus he should play better with a better DL.

LOL. Other guys from his class are not playing behind "serviceable DTs".

I will reiterate that the other 5 star defensive tackles from his class, Trent Thompson (Georgia), Terry Beckner Jr. (Missouri), Daylon Mack (Texas A&M) were already listed as starters LAST YEAR as true freshmen. They are all starting once again this year as sophomores.

Last year Kahlil didn't start and people made excuses for him. WHAT ARE THE EXCUSES NOW? 5 star recruits don't sit behind fringe players like Danny O'Brien as sophomores.

Lets hope this is another Butch Jones blunder. Cause we need Kahlil to be who the recruiting experts said he was if we want to be a championship team.

We talkin' about a depth chart man. A depth chart.
