What is the "clear " reason they cooled on him??

This is what I want clarified if possible from the great DE1Conley.

Doctors are wrong all the time.
So are coaches.

We take a guy like Jacob Johnson

But we let a 6'4" 230 lb sideline to sideline monster- that loves TN and was offered by them, get away???

Something isn't right.

This kid has the talent to be 265 lbs and still be a LB 6 years from now.

DeCon...you know something 😎. I know it lol. If you cant say, then you cant say. I'll understand...

So are Internet forum posters. I mean ALL the time. Heck, even I was wrong once.

Then you were wrong about being wrong.

That's correct. However, since I was originally right it negates being wrong making it so that my being wrong never occurred. Does that make sense?

Feet are a huge part. Circulation is affected...they swell. Easily damaged and they don't heal regularly. They have diabetic socks and shoes for that purpose...I don't subscribe.

These?

Dude I was a bouncer fall of 99 at McGee Pub! Just saw your name and had to see how u came about the name. Wish I still had my tshirt, that was a crazy place way back.

Yep. That was where we went to drink when I was a freshman and sophomore. A lot of good times there. I was a sophomore in fall of 99 so I'm sure we crossed paths.

I'm guessing you tossed me from McGees a time or two that fall. I bet I drank 1000 McGees pale ales that fall. Good times.

Did anyone actually ever get thrown out of McGees? Ever? I know for a fact that it couldn't have been for underage drinking because nobody ever bothered to actually check an ID to begin with. Then again, all my friends were a year ahead of me and Sophomores in 99 and had somehow already become the de facto promoters for that place so maybe that's why I never had to show anything.

By thrown out I meant kindly asked to leave after having a few too many, which made walking and talking a challenge.

I'll never forget the time I "fell/slid" all the way down the back deck stairs while holding a pitcher in each hand. Didn't lose a drop...standing ovation from the crowd. I miss college.

Those things were definitely treacherous. I managed to never fall down them (at least I'm pretty sure I didn't, couldn't say with 100% certainty though) but I put some serious pressure on the hand railings on my way down on many nights walking home.

McGees was the place you could walk up to the bar as a 17 year old, and order anything like you were 45 and not get a second look.

Glad that there were others here that got to experience it. I'm sure Knoxville has a place like that now, but McGees was mine, so I remember it fondly.

I've been working on a hypothesis that's there's a measures me inverse correlation between intelligence and the number of exclamation points someone using when writing.

Thank you for showing me that my hypothesis has legs.

You know what you can do with those exclamation points don't you? I think you know quite well! I can use as many exclamation points in a post as I want there buddy. No rules for that there Mr. thread police on punctuation! :):p

Not contradictory at all. And just cuz you had Lyme doesn't mean you aren't crazy.

What's contradictory? And, you're right! Lyme Disease doesn't mean you are crazy but I can tell you from experience it will drive you crazy. Especially long term neurological Lyme Disease. I'm still standing though thanks to the Good Lord above.

He gets all the credit because I've had renal(kidney failure) twice & the drs. didn't do a thing to help them start working again. It was all done by Jesus & he's my caretaker.

That's why my faith is so strong in Him & I do talk about it on here from time to time. In my opinion, we all need Jesus but I'm not going to force Him on anybody. That's their choice & not mine! I know what he's done for me. Thanks!

God is very disappointed in your response. Not very Christian.

Good job buddy!

Bold above. Isn't that the truth? I've had some very bad experiences with a few drs. I was very physically sick for over 3 years but they kept telling me that I was just crazy & it was in my head all the time. Turns out I had Lyme Disease, Lupus, & Chronic Mono the whole time.

I don't trust any of them but we have to have them. I have finally found a dr. now that really cares & is working on me to get me feeling better day by day. Thanks!

The first sentence of your last paragraph is completely ridiculous. You dont trust wny doctors? Do you have any clue as to how difficult medicine is? Do you know how hard being a doctor is? Can you even fathom how intricate and complex the human body is? You make it sound like those conditions you have are just exteremely simple things that any idiot on the street can diagnose. If you dont trust doctors then dont go to them. Every time a doctor does something bad thats all you hear about, but very little is said sbout all the good they do. Pitiful

You don't know what my family & I have been through with drs. That's all I'm going to say about this anymore as a Christian man. Thanks!
