Rented a 5 bedroom house on the lake of 421 just outside bristol. 2 acres, wanna camp?

You won't be far from my house. Keep it down and stay off my lawn!! J/k

Watch for the speed limit change where 421 drops to two lanes just past the big horse barn.

By all means, have fun and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lake and mountains. There's nothing like it. I love living here.

I live on a back road that comes out right at the speedway. My house is about 4 or 5 miles from speedway. No traffic problems. I have rented out bedrooms for the two races at Bristol for many years (nice house and I include breakfast). I have not advertised my rooms but if any Vol fans are interested, just contact me. I don't know if there is a way to contact others on Volnation or not.

We're actually gonna stay in Rogersville.. Kind of on the way for us and considerably less expensive. About an hour or so from Bristol, but better than driving 4 and a half hours back home after the game

I will be staying in my house after the game. You can see the race track from my house. The NASCAR fans are camping here right now, and it is raining on them. There are a bunch of them in the field behind me. They rent out spots and it is a huge field. That would be a good place for tent camping since it is on highway 394 and not too expensive. It is called Short Cut Camping and Parking, right beside Elizabeth Chapel church.

Another side question: I have four tickets to the Battle at Bristol on the VT side (I know, I know). They are very good seats in the Allison section, row 43. I would like to trade them for seats on the TN side with an equally good view. What do you think would be the best way to do that?

Man, I'd google "Virginia Tech fan forum", go join a couple of those, and put your question exactly the same way. Probably some dude over there in exactly your situation, just reversed.

Good luck!

When we played LSU in the Georgia Dome in 2007, some LSU fans were sitting near us, Tennessee side. They went over to the LSU side and traded with Tennessee fans. They came back and tried to get the Tennessee fans to swap back because the LSU fans were a-holes, LOL .. we all couldn't stop laughing and of course our fans stood firm and refused to move.. It was too darn funny!! :eek:lol:

I looked as some of their discussion boards and they are pretty sad. I posted over there anyway.

1200 section in the All American campground. We'll have an American flag with a volnation flag right under it. All are welcome for drinks and bbq
