Look who is sitting next to Vladimir Putin. None other than Trump's foreign policy adviser and former DIA Chief Lieutenant General Michael Flynn.

That's also Jill Stein looking all silvery in the foreground.

Can you imagine a retired Russian GRU or SVR general taking a photo with Obama, or, even just showing up at a Voice of America gala? Heck, just a CNN or NBC or CBS gala, Obama or no Obama?

He'd be drinking a polonium cocktail within a month.

These American generals nowadays, a Patton, a MacArthur, an Eisenhower, they are not.

Big surprise

Trump Dumps All Over U.S. Intel Community: 'I Won't Use Them'

Maybe the SVR is more to his liking?

After this is all said and done, one of the great questions concerning his historical campaign will be the extent to which he was a Russian agent. How "witting" was he? I think he's mostly just a useful idiot who wants, at whatever cost, a large footprint for the Trump Organization in Russia (and knows that you have to woe Putin and other government bigwigs as a result), but it would not surprise me to learn that he was consciously aiding the Russians either.

This may be the dumbest essay I've ever read:

https://www.rt.com/op-edge/356287-west-russian-propaganda-potter/

It's like it was written by the lovechild of Pepe Escobar, Little Pavlik, and the the entire FSB, if that were possible.

Seriously, guys, what in the heck did I just read? That may be the dumbest piece RT has ever published.

Basically, the author's criticism of the US is for being Russia, but without the necessary irony to make the point actually work.

The bar to being published at RT is very low, apparently. I don't even know what the point of that post is.

And this?

Maxim Kononenko, 45, is a journalist, an author and a pioneer of the Russian Internet. He is the founder of the vladimir.vladimirovich.ru project.

Heh.

The demonization of Putin/beating of war drums against Russia reminds me of the way the media spoke of Iraq and Hussein leading up to the 00's.

You won't find me out on the Siberian tundra when Neocons finally get their way. Have fun with that ****.
