What about John Kelly? IMO he'll be good to go. With a couple years in the system, I think he's likely #1 or #2. CFA isn't going to just lay down either.

I just know before getting the Chandler commit today there was chatter & a source I know said Cam Akers really liked us over his other offers. Chandler might very well cause him to be lost down the drain now. We'll have to wait & see.

They need to sell it like Bama does. We'll save your body for the NFL by rotating you guys back and forth. That way you stay fresh and average 6 yards per carry.:)

History says we play 2 backs. #3 doesn't get much carry wise. They may try to sell it, but if I'm a recruit I'm looking at what you do with your backs. Now Cam may think he'll beat Chandler and everyone else out. Or he sees Butch took Chandler and Coleman and moves on.

According to some on here all the blue chippers have already committed to other schools so shouldnt all of cams faves already have two or more backs committed?

The smart player realizes that having a strong stable mate lets him get the notice he needs to make the NFL without taking all the hits.... See Felix Jones and McFadden. Both were selected in the 1st round iirc.

I'd also look at the OL. I suspect that will be a HUGE selling point after this season.

I get that. I felt we needed 1 big time back who could fight to be #1 or #2. IMO Kelly will have that other spot. I'm also guessing with my "the man" sales pitch to both Ty and Cam. Also CFA figures in somewhere. Technically Lewis as well. Although I'd have dumped Coleman long ago(not took him at all actually) he's still sitting there as a commit as well.

You could be right. But I don't think Kelly or CFA will factor in unless they get a lot more PT this season than what any of us hope. I'm not saying they won't be a factor in who plays in '17.... only that recruits in this class won't necessarily see them as a "log jam". These other two guys will expect to beat them out. And many times... that's what happens. Guys were shoved out of the way when Gurley and Marshall arrived at UGA.

What did Coleman do to your mom dude? Sheesh. Dozens of posts bashing Coleman. I hope one day he balls out comes up to your $30000 skybox seat and makes you his midnight express!

The kid has publicly said an LSU offer and he's gone. IMO he should have been shown the door 45 seconds after making the comment. I like other backs better. I wouldn't have taken a LA back so early.
