If you'll read a few posts back another source is saying we're getting Akers too. Don't try to throw me to the dogs there glich. I wasn't throwing that rumor/source around for nothing last night either.

Every poster on VN does not equal a source. I could say we are going to get any number of players but it is just my hopes, dreams, and maybe my opinion. There are good signs on the Akers front but there is no "reliable" source that can definitively say we are getting him. Please stop using everybody's posts as your sources and especially your own. It's like your writing a research paper and you did all your research on Wikipedia.

Makes you wonder if tee Higgins may take a step back and acknowledge that THE top prospect in Tennessee in smith(who'll be a vol), chandler(top TN RB), Gray top 5 TN prospect are all joining the home state school. Top recruits will lure top recruits.

Exactly. The class w look a lot different in February. I don't think the Higgins door is closed at all but we have to highlight the future & passing game. I think we get smith, akers & gibbs. If we show Higgins enough through out the season dont be surprised w a Richmond style late flip. And no I don't have sources, just been following a long time & reading the tea leafs. He has a few qoutes when talking about Clemson that make me think he is committed but under the right circumstances he could be flipped.

This shows that our 'class of 2017 in-state struggles' really does just boil down to two players (assuming we get Trey Smith and keep Maleik Gray in the fold)...If we just had Higgins and Stevens (who never considered us) there would be no talk of it at all. Our staff obviously had Chandler much higher on their board than Richardson.

His coach said he's put on 10lbs...I take that to mean he's 205 now...another 10 and He'll be good to go next to Kelly next year....
