And you probably cheered when we talked to **** to the Russians. He's as bad they are. But you wrap yourself in that flag an be ignorant. Testing is always behind. He got nailed twice. Twice for cheating.

Actually I don't have a problem with PEDs at all. Everyone does it. Some get caught. It comes with the territory when you are dealing with microscopic margins of error between succeeding/making a living and starting back at square one.

It's not cheating if everyone does it.

This just in: After Usain Bolt came back to beat #VFL Justin Gatlin in the 100m Olympic finals, Bammer immediately claimed the win as its 17th national title.

I like Gatlin too. Did he fail a test for this specific Olympic period or this guy in here just holding a grudge? Because I'm pretty sure they don't let you race if you fail. That means he deserves his medal and congratulations. By the way those Jamaicans all look extra jacked to me.

I don't mean to burst your bubble but yes they do. And there shouldn't be a problem with it. Hell if you aren't already on TRT you certainly sound like you could use it. Same thing.

Well my sister was captain of the UGA swim team(won a natty), was a member of the us national team for close to a decade, had a world record, and never tested positive.

Is that why every major US Olympic swimmer signed a petition asking for tougher oversight? You think Phekps is Cheating? What about king who called the Russians out ?

I bet it's faster than Bo Jacskon or Dion Sanders times

Maybe. But a short distance like 40 yards is just as much a measure of acceleration as it is actual speed.

At one point several years back, Chris Johnson's people and Usain Bolt's people supposedly were trying to set up a charity race between the two. Supposedly, the biggest holdup was that the two sides couldn't agree on the distance of the event: Johnson's people wanted it to be something like a 40-yard or 40-meter event; Bolt's people wanted more of a 100-meter distance style run.

He might have great top speed, but it's not necessarily correct that he'd take, say, less than 4 seconds to hit it over a much shorter distance. It could be that while his top gear might floor wherever those two were, he might take slightly longer to get to top gear than they did.

The announcer said that they timed him before and his first 50 meters was same as his last fifty meters. Some simple math and if correct, his 40 yard time is sub 4.0

There are more factors than that, though. A site did a breakdown of Usain Bolt in 2008 (it was part of a comparison between himself and Chris Johnson, made the year when Johnson ran a reported 4.24 in the 40 yard dash at the Combine and Bolt won the 100 meter race at the Olympics in record time at 9.69).

Using split times, and trying to estimate various factors like not using a starting block, or starting the timing at the gun versus crossing the line, he estimated Bolt would run about a 4.22 in a 40 yard race.

Though it might feasibly lessen slightly if he hypothetically were training with the purpose of winning a 40 yard race. (His split times at the last Olympics were 0.27 better in the 100 meter dash than in the first 100 meters of the 200 meter race that he also won in Olympic record time.)

Honestly at phelps' age and level of performance I would be shocked if he hadn't gotten some extra help.

While probably correct, I was strictly going off what the announcer said about his split times. I converted meters to yards and cross multiplied the 40 yard time. While rudimentary, even a 40 time around 4.0 seconds give or take +/- 0.2 seconds is lightning fast
