I do really like boobies and booties though. I read the bios of all the girls. Does those count as articles?

I think in your case it does. They're articles and you read them. I bet you even had the diligence to study them. :)

Here's a crazy thing for you though. Looking back over its body of work, Playboy actually had some of the best authors (Stephen King and Alex Haley published with them) and articles of its era. They were cutting edge and they paid better than most other markets -- that money supported the launch of many a fiction writer's career. It's insane how much a boobie magazine wound up contributing to the fiction writing and journalism fields.

And although their quality was lacking their imagination was not and so I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that Penthouse inspired creative writers everywhere and may well be considered the godfather of today's slash fiction.

I think this may very well be the first time I've ever quoted you, but wanted to say, you are one of only a handful of people to actually sign up on VN in 2015 that I think is actually worth a damn as a poster. :good!:

Seriously, 2015 was a bad year for people signing up (or re-signing up)on here.

Thanks I really appreciate that! I really love my Vols! Sometimes I don't post as much as I would like, some people can really be brutal if they don't agree with your post....

Skimmed through real quick...didn't see the word boobies and dismissed this as a post I didn't care to read. Just sayin'. Do better next time. :)

I'm pretty brutal with people on here sometimes too. I'll admit it. It generally doesn't have as much to do with me disagreeing with them as it does the fact that their delivery makes them look really stupid. Other times it's just because they really ARE stupid.

Great example: Go into a player thread when a family member is actually in there. Inevitably, some idiot comes crawling out of their hole to say something stupid. We like to say that it's just a troll posing as a Vol fan, but unfortunately, I don't think that's always the case. We actually have some pretty stupid Vol fans too.

You keep on doing you. :hi:

And now, there will be some young men that do not know about an "angel in a centerfold" or care that one of their favorite things to do was to "take long walks on the beach".

If 'troll' is your code word for CrunchyLeb, then yes.

Sounds like Cam is good to go and know that CFA is probably going to redshirt unless things go sideways, but does anyone have specific info on his injury?

lol.

In all seriousness, I fell in love with our team last Olympics. I'd never paid any attention to volleyball and didn't really think much of the sport but then I saw them playing on the tv while having lunch at a golf course. It was truly amazing. I didn't realize how competitive and athletic they were. It was definitely not the volleyball I'd seen growing up which was casual at best and that's putting it lightly.

I remember a couple of Olympics back they were talking about a couple of guys that had failed to make the team and the volleyball coaches had suggested basketball for those not talented enough for volleyball. Who knew?

But, but, butt, boobies? :cray:

Fine. You're my favorite again.....for now.

As to your Olympics conversation. I have been enamored with them since childhood. Grew up poor. One little 15" B&W TV in the house. We kids watched whatever Mom and Dad were watching, or we didn't watch at all. I still remember watching Olga Korbut in the 1972 Olympics. At 8 years old, I was awestruck by her. She was truly the first of the great gymnast that people talk about today.

I soaked in every sport they were showing and probably just as much, if not more, soaked up everything about the country they were in for whichever Olympics it was.

My Mom and Dad were by no means sports enthusiast, but the Olympics was something they never missed. For that I am glad.

There is a couple of Tennessee fans between the two forums that I just really don't like. But that's normal.
But when someone starts adding "lol", "ha" and obviously becoming 'giddy' anytime something negative happens to UT, all while swooning over another team, then I do start to question.

But on to something I actually care about.
Has anyone confirmed what happened to Cam yet?
Any answers appreciated, I just don't have time to check all the threads right now.

Woohoo!

That's an awesome story BB. Thank you for sharing it. I loved the Olympics as a kid but I guess sometime in High School I stopped watching them. It was last Olympics and this Olympics that I really found my love for them again. So far I think my favorites have been fencing and 7 on 7 rugby. Both sports have me wondering why the hell NBC isn't putting them in prime spots.

I swear both sports are absolutely made for the South and I wish we'd invest them although the initial startup gear for fencing can be expensive. I think Southerners would dominate these sports if we were introduced to them young (forget soccer give us swords and rugby!). The other part of my motivation for pushing them is that these are sports that can get southern kids into Ivy League schools and that can change a poor kid's life forever.

That said, I have more sports to watch and I love the fact that I can watch them on my own time this year.

Cam Sutton was on the practice field and getting some work, including some interception drills. Looked like some precautionary gear on as well.

Elsewhere, Rashaan Gaulden, Nigel Warrior, Stephen Griffin and Micah Abernathy got heavy reps at safety while Sutton, Malik Foreman, Justin Martin and Emmanuel Moseley got the work at cornerback, with D.J. Henderson in that mix as well.

Lots of focus for the running backs on balance and leverage, with some hurdle drills and work in the chutes as well

You are tuned in. Excellent insight in BOLD - and more than can be explained in that sentence.

I haven't gotten to see the 7 on 7 Rugby yet. I did see a story on it yesterday I guess and did some reading up on it. Sounds absolutely fascinating. I hope I get to catch some of it.

Josh Smith continues to have a very good fall camp. He is polished, disciplined and honestly the most consistent wideout Tennessee has right now. He and Dobbs have a great relationship and are very much on the same page. I can't reiterate enough how impressive Tyler Byrd has been to this point.

-Austin Price

Smith is absolutely having a great camp.

PW, Malone, and Smith are the 3 key receivers with Byrd, Johnson, and Jennings as solid backups.

What's crazy is that the entire WR corps will be intact heading into 2017 (with a ridiculously stout OL to boot).

Whether QD or JG wins the job, they will put up huge numbers due to having so many weapons around them.
