Overlooking somebody can result in getting embarassed. e.g. Appy State over Michigan.

Besides, think of all the crow that will have to be eaten after spending the summer posting about going to the playoffs and then we lose to somebody we shouldn't

We have nothing to do with that as fans. We can overlook them as much as we like. The team can't.... but we can.

I agree we need to beat Florida.it will be the most pivotal game of the season IMO.my question is for you gators fans.how do you see this game? Is it one where if you lose to us for the first time in years it will set you way back as a team or how do you see it?

I think without a doubt it's the Florida game. This game is the start of the 4 game gauntlet. We have lossed 11 in a row to them. We win this game at the start of these 4 critical games & it builds our confidence to tremendous levels. Just think about what fire by winning this game will bring to the team. Especially the seniors.

We win this game & it would go a long way to winning the SEC East. Others are going to have various opinions on the most critical game & I'm sure Butch would say the very next game which is Appy State. That's the correct attitude for a head coach to have but we as fans have to dig further.

I personally have picked us to lose to Texas A&M because I don't think we can make it through that gauntlet unscathed. Hope I'm wrong though.

I only have us losing to Texas A&M by 1 point 30-31 if that helps you'll feel any better but it's still a loss & will be our only regular season loss. BTW, I think we're going to put a whooping on UF myself. I'd say 17+ points. It's time for some payback. :)

I do think Florida is the most important, but I'll go a different route. I'll say Texas A&M. They are smack dab in the middle of a tough stretch for us, and it's at college station, a very tough place to play. We will need to be very mentally strong during that stretch and if we can go down there and pick up a win, I'll like where the mental make up of our team is.

I see it as a loss for Florida if i am being honest. That being said, I'd hate to be our coach and these players if they are remembered as the team to lose to Tennessee.

We lose to UT, I could see us having another tough year at 8-4 or 7-5.

Whether UT fans like to hear it or not, the expectation at UF is always the same. You don't ever lose to Tennessee.

Yeah, because with a 26-19 series edge, Florida never loses to UT. Whatever. Whether Florida fans want to hear it or not, Fla football was basically a footnote before the 2000's.
