An athlete playing quarterback. Always projected as a star at safety. Sheriron has been a quarterback all along. It's a pipe dream thinking you're going to get him to stay as anything but a QB. And worst case scenario...we need backups. I'd rather have a super talented backup quarterback than a backup WR learning how to play a new position.

So removing your personal preference, if you are SJ, would you rather ride as a backup through college, try to start at the school you chose to go to at another position (because you're already a great athlete), or transfer out and try to win the QB job elsewhere? He already ..kind of.. did the last one, but from Tennessee's perspective, why would we want to let a talent like that go?
Why didn't Braxton Miller transfer to LSU or ND?
Just showing a QB making a position change for his own personal betterment.
