Fox News played commercial over the speech by the Muslim man whose son was killed

Khan is tied to the Clinton Foundation and the ME immigration profit system - the loss of his son and his criticism of Trump is considered legit. Trump makes some comments and the world loses it's mind.

The Benghazi mom isn't tied to Trump but clearly doesn't like Hillary - the loss of her son and criticism of Hillary is dismissed as shameful partisan hackery. Hillary suggested the woman is a liar and most recently (Sunday) says she is making up hearing something because she was grieving. The media doesn't mention this at all or if they do they take Hillary's side.

What a world.

They've quit trying to hide it and aren't even trying to be marginally subtle.

Their bias, if anything I think, will only help Trump.

No sir...will not. My comment was trying to be a corrective to hopefully counteract-in whatever small way- the hate filled bile that spews daily from 90% of this board. It's an embarrasment. Many of the posters fit so perfectly into the southern male caricature that it is laughable---almost like reading a Swiftean satire. The rest of the country has a skewed idea of the south- and many on here fit the mold of their pre-conceived notions without a hint of irony. Growing up in East Tennessee and living in The NE currently, I find myself fightling these stereotypes all too frequently.

ps-- no..I would not buy a ****box from a store called unpainted huffines:thumbsup:

Maybe it's because I've spent an unreasonable amount of time on this site over the years, but literally no one - that person that LG referenced in another thread - speaks about Bush in the vitriolic language and with the raw hate with which they speak about Obama. It's not even close. The fact of the matter is that Bush II was by far a worse president, and he also significantly expanded the powers of the executive. That man did more damage to this country and this republic than Obama could do in four or five terms, yet hardly anyone, including myself, speaks of him with the language that many in our society (and on here especially) reserve for Obama.

I see you joined well after Bush was POTUS. The venom has mellowed but both here and across the Internet Bush was treated exactly the way Obama has been. The vitriol is always worse when the POTUS is serving than when long gone. The exception is that Bush was blamed for virtually every bad occurrence well into Obama's first term.

Long before there was Obama Derangement Syndrome there was Bush Derangement Syndrome.

I believe they are neck and neck for worst I can recall. Bush for his wars and Obama for his division. I can assure you Obama's race has nothing to do with it with my assessment. I cannot speak to what motivates others - it is something I cannot know with any certainty.

One can't bring reason and facts to Volprof. Good luck.

And posters on here refer to Obama as the "most divisive president in history" Maybe they didn't look at dubya's ratings his second term. And I'm referring to Gallup, not a poll similar to "shoebat" or rushlimbaughpoll.com.

Bush's ratings were well deserved but that does not equate to being divisive. He was a crappy POTUS.

Perhaps it's because you support the policies of Obama that you don't see the divisiveness but I can tell you as someone who generally was at policy odds with him I can't recall any politician in my lifetime demonizing policy views such as mine in the way he did. For him, he did not debate the policy merits - he directly questioned the character, morality and ethics of those who disagreed with his policy positions.

I'm going to be voting for Hillary (to my disdain). She's pretty terrible. But I simply don't wish to live in a country where Donald Trump is president. My respect for trump is on par with Jalen Tabor.

You just admitted you're a love stain Persian..... I thought you were better than this

You'll never convince the mindless hordes of liberal coma patients that Khan is anything more than a poor sweet little victim.

Pretty much sums it the **** up.

For someone who is much older than myself, I would expect you to have the intelligence and maturity of someone above the age of 12.

But you said you supported Sanders.... I thought you had an IQ of at least 85 before you posted that.... Now I'm fairly certain it's around 75

bless your heart. have you ever been out to the country up there in NE? they are just like us with different accents. Its not a SE thing, its a rural thing. I would even say the racism is even worse because there are NO black people up there outside of the cities.
