Raynoch taking one for the team. Every fall camp the football Gods demand a heavy sacrifice from the Vols in terms of injuries and arrests, so former players have stepped up to keep Team 120 healthy and out of trouble.

I am so excited about Fall camp opening up today I went outside and ran a three yard sprint. I finally got my time under 5 seconds. I think I am ready for the second level seating climb for opening game. That's right giving my all for the team. :rock:

I'm not convinced anybody knows what we have in Kongbo just yet. I imagine he's going to come along slowly. And that's okay. We're in a great position to not have to force him onto the field immediately.

Hopefully he just walks in and dominates right off the bat. But that rarely happens.

I'm going to wait and see and hope for the best.

I just don't handle it well period. Anybody that has to rip and talk trash to a rival is usually a dim witted clod that comes off trashy.

Example: I don't mind someone saying "Tennessee looks like they're getting better, but that passing game can get rough." Hey, you looked at our team and noticed a flaw. You seem like someone I could discuss football with, and would be open to some ribbing of their own team.

But anyone that says something like "Gawwww man, Tennessee sucks! They always overhyped then they no show! They SUUUUUCK." Take your flat bill hat, get in your truck plastered with Monster stickers, and get out.

But man if we see players like Kongbo, Kyle Phillips, Kahlil, Tuttle and Darrell Taylor all take huge steps forward.... this defensive line is gonna wreck teams.

Not to mention the senior bumps we should get from Danny O'Brien and Latroy Lewis.

Edit: I didn't even mention Mixon, Vickers, Picou, Butcher or Austin Smith. Yowza

Kyle Phillips has to be ahead of him with an extra year in the program.
