Fox News played commercial over the speech by the Muslim man whose son was killed

Redundant post is redundant, it wasn't missed nor was the fact that my detractors have resorted to grammar policing since they aren't able to present compelling arguments otherwise.

You find it clever, it convinces me that you're easier to irritate than previously believed. I'll be home from vacay shortly and won't be posting from my mobile, time to formulate a new plan. Will you resort to "your momma" put downs when the spelling mistakes dry up?

Make a valid point and we will debate it. Until then grammar policing is all we got.

This I don't agree with. Wasn't Chuck Todd directly tied to the DNC email scandal? I believe I remember him being the network point man to ensure Hillary was being treated nice. I don't believe there is any longer plausible deniability to the cosy relationship between the media and the DNC. They even use the terms propaganda in their correspondence.

The media glorification of the DNC and the candidate poll along with the overt shaming of the RNC and their candidate pool is a primary pillar of the Democrats strategy to win elections.

I don't see how any respectable network can keep any of these mopes on TV given what we know now. It would an interesting experiment to run the DNC and RNC coverage side by side. The RNC coverage was all about how dark and foreboding and dim the outlook is. The DNC coverage was about hope and unity and historical milestones. What's weird is that both conventions had a lot of the same elements. Other guy sucks, other guy would be bad for America, I have a plan to fix things, etc. They even had similar if not exact proposals to fix issues. But Trump challenging trade deals threatens to wreck the world economy. Hillary challenging trade deals is just sound economic policy. Trump is a recruiting tool for ISIS, Clinton promising to eradicate them is strong foreign policy. I would just appreciate if they could at least pretend to not be in the bag for a candidate. But this is what it's going to take for Clinton to win. She will need the full weight of the media to keep Trump's name on the news constantly, and in a negative light. Ignore the email controversy. Ignore prior performance. Ignore that it's been 8 months since she had a press conference. Ignore that Bill took money from a Russian uranium company, focus on one of Trump's LLC's selling a house to a Russian guy. That proves he owes a debt to them, somehow. It's all kabuki theater with a clear goal in mind, and it's sad the fourth estate has reached this point.

"To Clinton, Capt. Khan is not a just soldier who died defending his country in a foreign land. First and foremost, to her, he is a Muslim of Pakistani heritage and therefor is a perfect political pawn for just the right situation.

Politicians like Hillary Clinton slice and dice people into racial and gender groups. Then they toot on all their little “dog whistles” to send all their little demographic pawns scurrying in various directions. That is how you wind up with Khizr Khan standing on stage beside his head-scarved wife, waving around the U.S. Constitution and distorting Donald Trump’s position on keeping radical Islamic terrorism at bay.

Perhaps a better testimony from Khizr Khan would have been for him to talk about how Hillary Clinton was in the U.S. Senate when she voted to invade Iraq. Years later, after that position became politically unpopular, she changed her mind and joined new political forces to vacate all the land across Iraq that so many great American patriots like Capt. Humayun Khan had died for."

My point of reference is the amount of political satire I watch on a regular basis. I've seen lots of hate towards HRC from people like Colbert and Fallon, but still not to the extent of Trump. Don't you think Trump makes himself an easy target though? I mean he never fails to put a target on his back 2-3 times a week.

Good help the students that you over see on a daily basis. A fresh crop of good little liberals every year. An example of what is wrong with our school system.

Thank you?

I agree with you, now that Trump has the nomination he needs to keep his mouth shut and only talk about relevant subjects. Let Hillary talk herself out of the win.

A perfect example of this was last week when Trump completely diverted attention away from the mess at the DNC by saying the stuff about Russia.

Someone need to take Twitter out of his control if they want him to win.

That would require her to actually hold a press conference and take questions that haven't been sanitized and thoroughly researched beforehand. This has to be the modern era record for a presidential candidate to not hold a press conference right?

Yes and her handlers are smart for doing it that way. DT should take some lessons.

Absolutely, I've said so in this very thread. Trump needs to learn when it's best to shut up and not be in the spotlight. But he's too childish to heed that advice. He treats the campaign more like an episode of the apprentice.

All of that doesn't detract from the media playing Goebbel for the DNC. I don't see how the reality of what is going on can be rationalized away anymore with the DNC email hack.

Thank you?

The mainstream media--comedy central and late nite included--ALWAYS lampoons the right. The fact that they are in any way lampooning Hillary is the story here, not the fact that Trump is a target.

It's disgusting that the msm is spending significantly more time on this non-story than they have with the DNC and Clinton's emails.

It seems like significantly less people have any form of confidence in the media these days anyways so it might be falling on deafer or lesser ears than before. It's a weird time right now and I think we are on the cliff of something. Not sure what though...

Case in point, here is the front page of CNN today. I don't see one story about Hillary and the controversy around here. Look how many negative headlines there are about Trump

Apparently, it's not something 'we got'. May I suggest using a present perfect form instead of past perfect simple? A more formal present perfect possession form of 'we have' would better emphasize the connection of said future (until then) event to the present and its effect on our current situation.

See how silly this is? Outside of personal insults - pointing out grammar and spelling mistakes screams "my argument has failed, but I want someone to pay attention to me anyway."

To me it's another red flag that such a qualified candidate will not engage the press in any meaningful way. If she's the best ever why isn't she out there proving it day in and day out? Instead everything is very controlled, vetted, researched, planned. It's all very surgical, like if a computer ran for president. She's not going to take any chances. At all. Again, it's like running the clock out with 13 to go in the first. She's not trying to win, she's trying not to lose. I think her vow of silence only encourages her detractors to look harder. If you won't give your enemy something to attack they will find it.

It's criminal that she has not held a press conference. I am eager for the debates because at that point no one will be able to protect her from Trump. IMO, it will be the debates that win the election for Trump.*

The "lib" media is STILL talking about the e-mails. Trump is nothing but negative.

LG you're talking to the unreachable on here. They're no better than the candidate they're supporting . The little orange spray tan man with the terrible (his favorite word) combover. Flame on!
