Well so much for Twitter being a quick resource for sports updates. Timeline is officially destroyed by coaches retweets of every thing since this year began. What a stupid new rule.

Too bad there isn't a "Turn off Retweets I don't want to see" option.

If elected President of the United States, I promise to create an option on Twitter that will allow a user to turn off re-tweets so they won't be annoyed by all of the NCAA coaches re-tweeting the kids they are recruiting.
:peace2: God bless The United States of America!!! :peace2:

If elected, I promise to build a wall around annoying retweets. Trust me, it'll be great.

5 keys for a successful fall camp:

1. Avoid injuries. If we can survive camp without losing anyone in the two deep to any serious/season ending injuries, that would be a huge success.

2. Find the gems. Hopefully 3 or 4 members of the 2016 class will really stand out in fall camp and push for playing time right away. Contenders should be Warrior at Safety, Kongbo on the DL, and one or two of the new receivers (Johnson, Callaway, Byrd). Having immediate impact players in the 2016 class will be huge for special teams and depth.

3. Depth Depth Depth. Can McDowell and Sapp be good enough to take some of the load off JRM and Kirkland? Are Berry, Abernathy and Mosley good enough to provide real depth in the secondary? Are Jack Jones, Charles Mosley, and Kendrick ready to step in if someone goes down? Can John Kelly be a real threat? Does anyone challenge QD for #2?

4. Defense and Special Teams. We have a new DC and Special Teams Coordinator. How quickly can guys learn the new systems and still fly around?

5. Throw game. Can DeBoard find a way to get Dobbs and his receivers in rhythm? Has Dobbs improved since last year? Is Dobbs gelling with the new WR corps? Can any of the WR's be elite this season?

If we can answer all of these questions in the affirmative, we're in for quite a ride this season!

Probably the only thing I'd add is who starts at LT and Safety?

What's the story with Auburn last year? I can't remember. I know everybody thought that one QB was going to be great, and he wasn't. But what about the rest of the team? Did they have a veteran team with talented depth all coming back from the year before? Were people just buying into the Malzahn hype? Why did everybody think they would be so good?

I really feel like we have incredibly valid reasons for extreme optimism going into this season. Not a lot we can really stress about right now.

I live here amongst the bammers and the aubies but I don't have any inside information, just a lot of scuttlebut from fans and local media.

But the problem seemed to be a combination of things that hit them all at one time. They thought their QB was going to be great based on backup play from the previous year. There was talk that he would be the best in the SEC. He went from best to bust. Then Muchamp showed up to rescue the defense. Word is he did not fit that well with Gus and Gus took his eye off the ball on the defensive side. Last, team discipline broke down, strictly Gus' fault.

It was a disaster of a season. Gus is not on the hot seat but the fans have the heater ready this season. If they start out 2-3, and they may, he will be in trouble. He may survive but it will be a program in trouble.

Either Kendrick or DR. VQ mods have said LT will be the most interesting competition this fall camp. They've said Kendrick isn't going away easy.

Gaulden and TKjr.

I think three things will determine our season, does the O line continue to improve, does the WR Corp reach its potential, and does Shoop's D do its thang. If all 3 happen id take us vs anybody.

I feel really good about the OL. From the way the VQ guys have been talking, it's a battle between Richmond and Kendrick for LT, and both seem to be "good but not great" right now, which is fine.

They haven't hinted at any sort of trouble at the position--just that we have two guys fighting for it. And they've also only briefly touched on the fact that we lost Kerbyson. Leads me to believe that LT won't be a major issue regardless of who starts. Perhaps not a major strength, but not a major weakness either.

And of course we know that the rest of the OL is stout. It's an All-SEC lineup other than LT with Robertson, Thomas, Wiesman, and Hall.

We've also got depth to weather an injury or two.

Do folks think Mosley will contribute? He a big boy.. and now healthy...

I'm curioius about TE as well. We know what we have in Ethan Wolf. I'm very interested in seeing how Croom does at that position, and what the new coomers look like. Croom has the potential to become an X factor in the passing game with his size and skills.
