A bunch of posts got deleted in here, but I brought this one back so I could respond. I still haven't modded a single post in this thread. I've got no clue what you're even talking about. I'm just now reading all of this.
A crying emoji was added to his post. Or that's what I understood. Not a big deal.

He said that states should be able to determine that. Every state has different costs of living etc. Bill kept pushing him to give a national number and he blurted that out. Don't think that's part of the platform

This. States with higher cost of living should have wages adjusted to that. Sucks if you live Butt****, North Dakota though. Lol

Yeah, and it looked more like an arbitrary number he whipped out at the spur of the moment rather than a thoughtful process.

Yea I agree...Bill can do stuff like that at times, now this will make Trump have to defend himself. I think it should be up to the states...a Living wage in Southern California is not the same living wage as East Tennessee

I'm not entirely opposed to a raise in the federal minimum wage level. Even as cheap cost of living as Oklahoma has, minimum wage isn't a living wage.

But I do agree that States should be able to raise the minimum wage as they see fit. It's those States that have to deal with the repercussions of doing same in the end.

Oh boy...

Nancy Pelosi: Hillary Clinton struggles with white men because of 'God,' 'guns,' and 'gays' - Washington Times

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says “the three G’s” are preventing Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign from gaining traction with white males: God, guns and gay people.

The California Democrat sat down with PBS Newshour on Tuesday night to discuss the 2016 presidential election. When journalist Judy Woodruff asked why Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump polls so well with white men compared with Mrs. Clinton, she replied, “So many times, white — non-college-educated — white males have voted Republican. They voted against their own economic interests because of guns, because of gays, and because of God, the three G’s — God being the woman’s right to choose.”

Well, at least we found out where LG is getting his moronic talking points.

There won't be any blowback on this from the media, but if a white man made such a comment he'd be burned at the stake.

I just find it hilarious. She insults non-college educated white men, but turns around and can't figure out why they don't vote for Democrats.

She's one of the stupidest people in Congress.

If she missed a chance to insult them, she always has Sin City Vol for a backup.

So. I was talking to my wife last night about the election. After all the email scandal nonsense from Hillary, which will hurt her with the Sanders voters. And the leveling off that Trump is doing right now. That ****er legitimately has a chance at this now.

I don't think he takes the white house, as I think he loses a few key states still. But it's going to be way closer than what I thought.

****.

Better get used to it bruh, 70 % of the population wants real change after eight years of Owebummer. He's gonna win

We'll see if he can actually pull it off. But, he's doing better than what I ever expected.

It's going to come down to Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio as usual. And we'll have to see what kind of bump Hillary gets after the convention.

But it is interesting to see the gap narrowing in States that have gone blue over the past few election cycles like Oregon and Nevada.
