If they aren't connected personally I agree it's below the belt
I think they are or the results of such a statement would have been very different
The player rankings aren't always accurate but they're right about 50% of the time.
So if you sign 2 five stars, it's a coin toss on which one lives up to the billing and which one doesn't.
Look no further than our 2014 class. Both Hurd and Malone were 5 stars according to 2 of the services. One guy (Hurd) lived up to the billing while another (Malone) has not.
That's what I mean by the player rankings being inaccurate. But the team rankings end up being accurate because if you keep collected highly rated guys, some of them are bound to pan out.
Good vibes in here the last 12 hours fellas :hi:
Just one thing. I don't like to call out negative posters. If you don't like to see certain things dominate discussion, simply don't contribute to that conversation with your complaining about "poster x, y, z". Everyone can post what they want, but when you just let it pass over, the things worth talking about, actually get discussed, and the same old drivel just goes unnoticed and uncommented upon.
Carry on.
Sure I'll get blasted by some on here, but I don't think Hurd has lived up to the billing. He was touted as having 4.37 breakaway speed. He ran for 3,300+ yards as a junior and ran for nearly 400 yards in a state championship game. I thought we were getting 6'4" freak with world class burst and speed that could take one to the house on any given play, from anywhere on the field. That's just not quite what Jalen is though.
He's very, very good, and I'm very glad he's a Vol, will hate it when he moves on to the NFL. The kid is a warrior, he's a beast, he can do a whole lot of things (running, receiving, pass pro) at a very high level. But in all honesty, he is not quite as good as good as I thought he'd be.

Ignore is pretty much useless anyway because you get those ANNOYING reminders that the post is hidden because 'so and so' is on your ignore list....
What's the damn point of ignoring them?
SIAP, but Gary Parish saying the SEC worked out a deal that ends up making it more likely that we have solid officiating in football and basketball. Don't know the details, but excellent news.
Takes the power of argument away from them. You can comment on a reply to them but it reduces the troll quotient IMO.
