Would be cool to see a recruit go with the ultimate coin flip. Say Trey had bama and UT even. He felt it was literally a coin flip and he'd be happy at either. He then goes public a month before the game this year and says whoever wins gets his signature.

Of course I think it looks like we may get him, but it would be cool to see a recruit toss something like that out there.

Even if all things were considered equal (which they never are), this might possibly be the dumbest idea I have heard....ever....

Callahan CB was an important one. He really doesn't make decisions until he's almost positive. Just a few days ago he wasn't ready to put his CB in for Trey and then boom

No need to stress over Trey no more for me. As far as I'm concerned he's committed, time now to sit back and drink some coffee.

If Trey Smith didn't give some indication to the coaching staff that he would likely be a Vol, all these analysts wouldn't have CB'd him to Tennessee especially when we got a **** load of them less than 24 hours after his visit. He's either told the staff he's a Vol or he's trolling the staff really hard.

Please let not go down that road again

There's something seriously wrong with you

He's not wrong about a few players currently committed being asked to look around. Doug Mathews put the number at 4-5 during his Big Orange Sunday radio show on Sunday. I personally wouldn't dare assign specific names to those numbers, but I think there's very little doubt that 4-5 current commits won't sign with us on NSD....they'll be replaced with better, more highly rated players IMO.

Pretty much every school has this yes?

Just from reading the tea leaves, it seems to me that Trey truly wants to be a VOL, but is waiting to see if we have the kind of year we are all hoping for. My guess is he told the staff if we get over the hump this year he is ALL VOL.

The season can't get here quick enough.

Something about some turtles and a troll who plays with fireworks.

Not that it matters at all this early, but we would move to 8th on 247 recruiting rankings if we got him

Knowing that ESPN typically rates O-line the highest. I wouldn't be surprised to see Cade Mays #1, would be pretty cool to have the #1 player in the country 2 years in a row..... Even if it is on ESPN
