I think we beat the Gators this year, but you all will finish with 10 wins and have playoff hype come 2017.

I know some scoff at this, but one of the great unknowns about Tennessee is how they handle success.

With every win the next game becomes bigger. The attention grows, the hype grows. Etc, etc, etc.

They haven't had to deal with that.

Maybe a small run of success creates a momentum that has a snowball effect. It just builds and builds and becomes unstoppable.

Maybe they can't handle the spotlight and fall on their face.

I don't know.

But, it's why i say (and I'm not trying to be insulting), go win the SEC East first and worry about SEC titles, playoffs, heismans, etc, etc, etc. later.

Winning the east means beating the gators. We will do it this year.

Not sure moving forward. People think Florida hasnt been recruiti mg well under Mclwiens first 20 months but I beg to differ.

A lot of speed in those two classes.

I cant wait to see how fast this thread gets posted on Tigernet. I dont know what the deal is on Tigernet with our Vols, but they post every single they can find on TN. Its kinda funny on how much they pay attention to any on the Vols, and anything said on Volnation.

I changed my mind.

And ill probably change it again.

Shoops addition should give our team more stability.

Our defense was as inconsistent as Dobbs was.

But Dobbs improved this past spring. And I expect our defense to go from effective to Elite.

I feel like... maybe i forgot, that we have gotten better while other teams have not or have even stepped back.

I can agree with that. Dobbs will be fine IMO. I'm tired of watching replays as well. Let's get this season going!
