Let's see. I'll say Bembry (because he doesn't seem too interested. You never hear anything about him), Burnam, Lawson, Rogers (Ole Miss), Tucker, and Coleman (I like him but don't think he sticks) won't be a part of this class.

Just watched the abc documentary on the Texas a and m bomb fire tragedy, so sad! All fellow vols making the trip pay tribute and show your respect at there memorial, as I know you will.

And during that 20 hours he's caught nothing but grief for not being good enough for a top D1 program. And now LSU is proving their interest to one of our 'lowly' 3 stars.

He's one of our better commits if the grades are good to go. Its probably smart if he keeps looking though. Just in case.

If we want to land around 15th in class ranking come NSD, we need to be around 10 4* and 15 3*.

Probably looking at 8-10 git shirts, at least.

They have stopped posting because every time they bring info, other posters jump all over them. It has become more and more difficult to have a rational recruiting discussion in the recruiting forum. So knowledgeable posters have stopped trying.

Our class was worse at this point last year. Don't think there is anything off unless you're comparing it to 2014 and 2015.

Either way, the championship roster has already been built. Its on campus for the 2016. Butch just needs to win.

Win and recruiting solves itself.

Lose and the house of cards built on hype and slogans falls apart.

Depends I suppose. Catbone posted the other day the committed class as of last year on the same day in July. We had 13 commitments and 7 were 4*. Not sure which service he used.

This year with 25 commits, we have 3 4*.

Depends on the service.

According to ESPN, we have 7 4* prospects right now out of 22 commits (I don't think they have updated their rankings to reflect our recent commits).

Once again there really isn't much difference between our class in 2016 at this point last year and this one in 2017.
