Imagine if there wasn't the cell phone video and he didn't survive. You think the cops would admit he had his hands up and was yelling don't shoot?

Or instead don't you think they would say he charged at them and was reaching for their gun?

This is the same story just a different day. Only difference here is the brotha survived and the whole incident was caught on tape.

What I've feared is coming to pass at this point. I haven't said anything about it until now, but I feel most LEOs out there are going to be so jumpy and nervous, things like this will happen more frequently. With as many that have been killed in the past few weeks as well as those getting ambushed during "routine" 9-11 calls, LEOs are going to be going into those situations very uneasily. And certainly with the mentality they are not going to be another victim for the 6 o'clock news.

And if they become more frequent, it will just give the protesters even more ammunition. It's a vicious circle.

This was no outlier. White police officers are irrationally violent toward black men.
