Tabor the Mouth -- At It Again

There has been no feud whatsoever; just a handful of gators running their mouths and the media trying to take those comments and turn them into a feud.

The stupid @$$ Gators aren't even who I'm worried about!!! We have to beat Bama this year!!! I already know we're going to beat Florida, pretty handily! Dude is just running his mouth, because he knows he will never get to do it again, after this year. Bama is the game I have circled!!!

They can say what Kongbo said earlier this year. Come September 24 we'll destroy you.

Class means nothing in sports. The more aggressive person usually wins. And right now McElwain shows me he has the aggression to win.

Butch on the other hand looks like a wimp. And has extended his wimp behavior to the players. See what's happened to Kongbo since he stepped on campus.

They could say what Kongbo said.

Plenty of teams talk smack even if they're the ones that lost the last matchup.

It shows me someone who isn't afraid to raise the stakes on his upcoming performance. Tabor and McElwain have no problem building this matchup up. And no problem saying we're gonna win.

Butch on the other hand is scared to even say we're gonna win any games. And has extended this wimpish behavior to his team with how they skirt around any question dealing with Florida or expectations.

Its pathetic.

If it wasn't for the overwhelming talent of our players I would already have bet a ton off money on Florida to win this year. McElwain has the mindgame already won vs Butch Jones.

Is this guy for real?

I want our team to be quite, keep their heads down working to improve. Then beat the snot of the Gators and leave the field with class.

You should never give the opponent "bulletin board" material. I guarantee everyone involved with the team will remember all of the diarrhea being spewed by Tabor and the Gators. Butch will use it as motivation the week leading up to the game.

It does look weak. It looks like he's scared. He's scared to actually take on the bully eventhough he's the bigger stronger guy now.

Its quite pathetic.

If McElwain beats him again this year it'll show me this guy lacks the toughness to coach big time football.

Are you going to hang up your Vol gear if they lose to Florida? Considering you've only been a fan since we've become relevant again. Talk about lack of toughness coming from somebody like you bruh....

So d4h is more worried about looking/sounding tough than actually being tough? The smallest weakest little punk can run his mouth 24-7 and still be a small weak punk. Running your mouth don't make you good or strong. Makes you look pathetic!
Watching this generation hide behind their phones and monitors and flap their gums and then when confronted they use 3-4 guys to jump on one guy or just pull a gun. Truth is their scared little weenie's afraid to take an azz whoopin'
There's nothing tough or cool about that. Just chumps that are afraid and act out the only way they can. D4H, if the shoe fits.....

JT just trying to talk himself into it, or truly believes the gators will never lose to the Vols again. I'm predicting they will lose to the Vols this year. And Tabor will be unable to do anything about it. And I'm sure the gators will give their all for their team and it just won't matter. We are an improving team, and until I see other wise the gators are on a downward spiral, maybe they will start better this year compared to how they ended last year.
Treyvon had a hard time keeping the offence going last year. Gators should be better than at end of last year, but i don't know if enough.

The notion that He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named wants the Vols to run their mouth just shows the character he has. He preaches that we need to be tough and then proceeds to run away when the years aren't kind to him.

I don't want our team to be "that guy" that just runs his mouth all the time. I would rather us act with class and professionalism and then walk on the field and wipe the floor with our opponent.

To say that Butch has "extended his wimpy attitude to his players" or something stupid like that is just absurd. Our team captains that went to media days had plenty of opportunity to retaliate to the taunting from the Florida players. There's no need to say anything, Dobbs is setting the standard for everyone on the team and in my opinion is trying to have an attitude as much like Peyton Manning as possible.
That's the attitude every player should have, and based on the off season, that attitude is spreading throughout the team. Come to practice, work hard, prepare for the season, make it your goal to end up in Tampa this year (which is what Hurd said in his press conference after the Outback Bowl).
Hey Dobbs4Heisman, learn some humility like your idol (who's name is in your screen name idiot) and stop making every thread on this forum turn into a bickering match between fans of the same team. That's selfish and immature. You're acting the same way Gator fans act. Cut it out.

That's cause nobody goes at Saban and Bama like this. If Ole Miss started talking like this about Bama, I'm sure the Bama players would respond.

Butch is making us look weak putting a lid on guys like Kongbo.

In 2013 Bo Wallace called out Alabama's defense, and implied their cornerbacks were average. Alabama simply shut them out

But the reason nobody talks trash to Alabama like they do to Tennessee is because nobody owns Alabama.

There is not a Vol that is working harder because of comments made by Tabor. Giving your all has nothing to do with outside noise but everything to do with achieving greatness for #120. How great can #120 be?

We used to. 10 out of 12 years is pretty much ownage, and it would've been 11 out of 12 if not for that fluke fumble in the '05 game. Our players would even sing a little song to the Bama fans (about 20 seconds into the video) :) 2000 Tennessee vs Alabama

It's nothing more than a difference in philosophy.

Some coaches think cockiness is simply the extension of confidence and the chirping on and off the field is just part of the swagger. They even encourage it. Based on his team and his own comments, it seems McElwain is one of those guys. He's certainly not the only one.

Other coaches see it as a distraction and part of self-discipline. If you can't control your mouth, then you can't your emotions and actions on and off the field.

There's no right or wrong, and none of it matters one bit. The only thing that matters is what goes down between the sidelines.

This game on September 24 will show us what Butch is made of. If he steps off the gas pedal once again and we barely beat these bums, we'll know he's not the answer.

Anything less than a blowout is unacceptable September 24. We're the better team. We're more talented. We're at home.

If Butch lets off the gas in this game I would demand he gets fired that night.

When do you debut on Last Comic Standing?

Let me throw some programming logic at you:

IF gametimremaining = 0 AND volscore > gatorscore THEN CBJ = "Hero" END

The who, what, when, where and how aren't going to matter. Not even a little bit.

I'm no gator fan. But if we lose to Florida again I'll definitely jump off the Tennessee bandwagon until Butch Jones is gone.

The guy has no choice but to win September 24. Anything less and it's over for him in Knoxville.

You're easily the most weak minded blowhard I've ever come across on VN.

Something to be proud of.

If your jump includes a self-imposed cease and desist at volnation.com, you're creating a quandary for quite a few members.

No he isn't. This is the off season and this jumper is getting attention. It's a moot point, #120 is going to be great. How great? That's the question. D4H is here to stay, deal with it.

This kid irritates me to no end, but until the boys beat Florida, I can't say a dang thing about his mouth. The truth hurts.

And look at the results on the field so far.

I'd say McElwain is right so far.

I don't care if our players never say anything like the Gator blowhard tabor does.

All I care about is that our footVol team walks on the field well prepared, confident, fired up and ready to knock the chocolate out of the other team and when the game is over our footVol team leaves the field with the WIN and enjoying their celebration along with all the rest of us.

Talk means nothing and you can be fired up and confident without running your mouth.

WIN by WIN our Vols will earn their respect and national ranking...VFL...GBO!!!
