Tabor the Mouth -- At It Again

I'm no gator fan. But if we lose to Florida again I'll definitely jump off the Tennessee bandwagon until Butch Jones is gone.

The guy has no choice but to win September 24. Anything less and it's over for him in Knoxville.

Dobbs 4 Heisman, FSU is always looking for a few more bandwagon fans. You can go Warchant.com and kick-off a love fest for Jimbo Fisher.

I can't believe how some people continue to get their panties in such a wad over UF talking. If we had the streak against them that they have against us, UT could match their talk x 1000 and we wouldn't hear a peep out of you all. Get over it, it makes you look childish and foolish.

I can't fathom bandwagon fans. It's as if you are walking down the aisle with your bride and giving the bridesmaids your phone number for later on.

Actually, might not be a bad thing. Kentucky has a message board and JoJo4Heisman hasn't been taken yet.

It shows me someone who isn't afraid to raise the stakes on his upcoming performance. Tabor and McElwain have no problem building this matchup up. And no problem saying we're gonna win.

Butch on the other hand is scared to even say we're gonna win any games. And has extended this wimpish behavior to his team with how they skirt around any question dealing with Florida or expectations.

Its pathetic.

If it wasn't for the overwhelming talent of our players I would already have bet a ton off money on Florida to win this year. McElwain has the mindgame already won vs Butch Jones.

You don't get it. You are doing exactly what the Gators want our players and coaches to do, which is focus on something other than the game.

This kid sounds like somebody who has t been put in his place yet. I recently heard in interview with him where he said something along the lines of, "the only reason I'm not on the Thorpe watch list is because quarterbacks won't be throwing my way." Come September 24th, I want PW matched up on him.

It does look weak. It looks like he's scared. He's scared to actually take on the bully eventhough he's the bigger stronger guy now.

Its quite pathetic.

If McElwain beats him again this year it'll show me this guy lacks the toughness to coach big time football.

Ha. Saban and his Alabama teams don't talk smack before the game. Saban doesn't encourage it.

Hard to call Saban a wimp. He knows to let the pads do the talking. That is why he owns the SEC

This, combined with all your other petulant posts in this thread, finally did it.

Jalen Tabor explains Florida just expects to beat Tennessee

From 24-7

"Tennessee, they've got a good program, got a good coach, got a few good players," Tabor told the "Full Ride" show on Sirius XM. "But at the end of the day, if you want to win the East, you've got to come through the Gators. Tennessee is one of those teams like no matter how much they get up on us, we just feel like we're going to win that game at the end of the day.

"Through (the last) two years we've won by two points combined, so that just tells you the drive that we have to win the game. No matter what, no matter how many points they score, no matter how many yards they get, as long as we're up by one point. I think we'll do the same thing this year."

So is anything he said inaccurate?

Put up or shut up. We need to stop talking and stop listening to this child and just win.

Tennessee players aren't talking. It's all UF. That's because they're scared....they know that we should be going for 3 in a row this year. They did not beat us the past 2 years....we beat ourselves.

I'm going to assume you have never, ever, ever heard the phrase "Speak softly and carry a big stick." Because this is how Butch is trying to carry himself.

Being demonstrative and speaking to the media about how badly we are going to beat Florida makes you look insecure and childish. The best teams don't speak out. They conduct their business and let their play do the talking.

Do you see Saban running his mouth? What about other coaches? The best programs aren't out there running their mouth they are coaching their players up.

Butch doesn't need to do this to be confident about the game. I swear, sometimes I don't even know why I respond to you.

Its the truth. I'm pissed hearing this clown run his mouth and I ain't even a player or coach. And as so many here like to remind me, not a "real fan" either. I can't imagine how motivated I would be to destroy him on the field September 24 if I was a player or if I was Butch Jones and hearing this said about my team.

If they don't stomp the life outta these guys September 24 its gonna make me look at em differently. They have the talent to do it. And now the utmost motivation.

Playing on emotion will get you beat every time. Play with passion, aggression and ability. BTW I think TN beats them by 20 this year, just too talented. The last 2 years, not so much.

As far as that goes, I am not conceding a loss to AL either. We match up well with them on paper, and, they will be breaking in a new QB. The game I am thinking may be a toss up is with A&M. College Station is no joke to play at, went there a couple of times when I lived in Houston. They can get extremely rowdy down there.

Why do you give an ish what Tabor says about Tennessee? He didn't say anything about Dobbs.

Damn. Almost a reason to pray for an 11-1 season. How about you cut your losses and go ahead and jump? We'll give you a list of top D1 programs with a black QB to pick from and you can head on out before the season starts.....whaddaya say kid?

Not gonna go negative on young Tabor.

Just very, very proud of our guys, players and coaches alike, for carrying themselves with the grace, humility, and good sportsmanship that Pat Summitt preached throughout her coaching career. Real proud of them for how they're handling the spotlight. Sign of maturity.

Go Vols!

I hope our guys "act like they've been there" this year while they stomp a mud hole in the gators. There's nothing better than outclassing your opponent all while not taunting them because they're "not worth it." That being said: Hurd standing over a decked Tabor would be amazing!
I just hope some of our fans display class this time instead of embarrassing us in front of the opposing head coach regardless of who he is our how much of a jerk he may be. Then having it discussed on tv and extending the embarrassment especially after we lost.

My Florida buddy just texted me, "the last game you guys won against us wasn't even presented in HD."

Lol just win.

If my worst fears come true and we somehow lose to the gators again, i can at least take solace in the fact that D4H will be gone and looking for a bandwagon to jump on

I'm done listening to this clown.

Fwiw, he has only beaten UT twice. And could wind up .500 before he graduates. IF he graduates.

Unlike most, I usually don't have a problem with your opinions, but this is beyond silly. It's the same short-sighted line of thinking that started UT's downward spiral and there is no place for it.

For all you old Vols, is this what it felt like when Alabama has an 11 win streak coming into 1982...?
Yes I'm old and yes it is. The last UT vs. gayduhs game I attended was our '98 NC bunch. Flew in from Austin, TX and after we beat em' with that late field goal, I rushed the field with all the other ragin' maniacs. Despite being "asked" by my cardiologists from Duke to forego the trip, I'm flying up from my ranch in SC...raisin' hell on the 4th row...section C. Don't anyone give me any of that "I'll stand up despite you blue hairs" crap. I'll probably be standing most all the time, myself. This ol' geezer's going to be seriously prepared to rush the field after this very, very special group of Tennessee Vols have dismembered those gutless floorduh big mouths. Hey. Flyfishin' Vol. You gonna' run out there with me?:clapping:

Fixed it for ya

Exactly! D4H is one of those guys that seems to subscribe to the adage, "When the going gets tough, I take a hike and get out of town!" For Vol fans of this particular vintage, just leave now is my recommendation.

D4H is a bandwagon little b****....in the recruiting forum awhile back he actually said the only reason he follows UT right now is because they're winning again. He's a chode. It would benefit everyone if he was just put on ignore.
