Talked about his $220k Mercedes SLS, meeting our potential (which is hopefully a title), regarding lawsuit: 60+ speakers for team, groups, and 1 on 1s, Pat's legacy and their friendship, and then the usual...

But wasn't that mostly short passes and dump offs to backs? Just hoping he shows more improvement throwing down field this year. Like 15 - 20 yds and I feel needs to hit the occasional bomb to keep the other D lose or at least attempt to make the other D think about it. Make our running game even more powerful. Just a thought. :hi:

We were 10th in the sec at ypa at 7. That's the stat I want to see improved. If we're in the 7.5-8 range combined with our running game we'll be in business.

Dobbs needs to trust the bigger WRs to make the play. Throw it up and let them go get it. If we see 4-5 picks, then we'll adjust. As of now we don't know what PW and JM does 40 yards downfield with a jump ball. They never get the chance.

nice!

Man, crazy what Butch has done with the talent level here.

I just stumbled across the 2013 Kentucky highlights.. Devrin Young and John Probst are having their names called in the highlight reels. Insane

Here's an interesting hypothetical: How do the 2016 Vols fare against that monster 2013 schedule?

You ain't lying man. I am going to enjoy this season. Regardless of how it plays out we are light years better off as a program right now than when Butch took over. He was the absolute perfect fit and a home run in every sense of the phrase in hindsight.

The fact that people are picking us to win the east is amazing on its own. I know it doesn't mean anything. But we were literally so ignored for so long.

Now they can't stop loving us.

No idea but I definitely wouldn't go into the Oregon game hoping we lose by "only" 4 touchdowns like I did in '13.

I would feel confident with this team playing anybody, anywhere. Would never be overmatched IMO

I could see the Va Tech game being pretty similar to the 2013 Oregon game. Only backwards.

I think we'd lay the wood on that Oregon team with this year's roster.

And we deserved to be ignored.

Hopefully people now realise that the media pays attention to winners or those expected to win.

Has nothing to do with people realizing anything. We had unstable leadership at the top. Luckily that's no longer the case and we have a winning product.

I loved the Vols when we were losers and I love them the same now that we are winners. Hopefully we don't go back to being losers. That was so much less fun.

Devrin Young was pretty decent at returning kicks and punts. Remember him being fairly effective in the screen game as well.

I remember when he was a freshman and he was so hyped up. And he got banged up or something and missed the first game or so of the season. He came in to return a punt against somebody not very good and almost broke it for a TD. I thought he would for sure take back at least a few kicks or punts for TD's. But I don't think he ever did. Could be wrong tho.
