Charles Mosley? Broke his leg dude? Missed a season dude. We covered his story. Now can we get back to the present? :hmm:

Missed a season over a minor little thing like a broken leg? Sounds like a bust to me. Butch probably broke his leg because Charles was allergic to peanut butter or something.

Lol

You forgot the smoking of weed and driving to help with the pain of the injury a year after the fact.

Discipline was handled internally just in case context is needed.

Seems like the charges were dropped completely on Mosely, what do you think Saban should do?

Ok? Who's their Treyvon Paulk? Gonna stretch that to Kamara? :)

Holiday Inn Express in Kodak, across from the Smokies Stadium does.

Sounds like you're coming from the west but I always think it's easier getting out of campus if you're headed east. Also staying that far out hotel rates are reasonable and not bloated for game weekends.

I'll look into that. We were planning on staying somewhere west but it may be worth it to drive a little farther. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have Bruin on ignore so if he was responding to me:

Has Butch ever not punished a player or insinuated that the police were doing anything other than their jobs when a UT player gets in trouble? No. He takes appropriate action and let's the legal system take its course.

Put him, d4h and crunchyleb on ignore....

Coach Butch Jones is the son of a police chief.
Pretty sure he takes that seriously.

Unfortunately some on here have an agenda that doesn't allow the truth to interfere with their crusades...

Discipline is the toughest part of a coaches job.

All programs have trouble with it and all kids deserved to have second and third chances and handled differently accordingly to their past issues.

I don't participate is throwing rocks at any programs for how they handle discipline issues because we don't have a clue of the history or specifics of the individual incidents

Simply put I am plenty damn old to recall the hurt I felt when TRob, Reggie Cobb, Nilo Silvan, and others made national news and I find ZERO joy is participating in the ridicule of other programs for such discipline issues and how they are dealt with. Celebrating kids failures with the law isn't something I find joy in regardless of what color uniform they wear

Too bad you aren't so caring and understanding when it comes to UT kids. Like Charles Mosley.

If he is guilty of DUI he should absolutely be suspended for game time.

Bad precedent set here if things are as they appear

IMO 1-2 games should hAve been the precedent

And when the DUI part was dropped that changed right?

You see you can't throw rocks at all cases all the time until the facts are settled.

Oh, you definitely had the rocks flying left and right before it came in front of a judge.
You know, when it was the Tennessee kid.

I just pulled your first post, there were several more.

You need to read that first post closely to my friend.

You see the "if things are as they seem" part?

IMO if a player is found guilty of DUI they should get a 1-2 game suspension. That's what I hope our coach does. I don't give a damn what another programs coach does. I am not an ambulance chaser like this board seems to be celebrating kids failures with the law. I find it sad when any kid finds such issues

Oh of course.
We all just misunderstand your
valiant stance.
Maybe one day we will learn but I wouldn't hold my breath. We being ambulance chasers and all.

The way our society is today surely we can agree we would all be happy if our athletes representing all college and universities all over the country stay out of the public spotlight for breaking the law.

We certainly need a calmness to this bs world where we all are pointing fingers at each other's issues

Of course he got pulled by the one officer in Tuscaloosa that has auburn ties...why weren't the other two arrested from Troy and UAB respectively..Taylor makes a mistake and Nicky announces he will be disciplined to the fullest by attending counseling and sitting out their monumental week 4 tilt against Kent state where I'm sure his presence will be sorely missed

Good point, and I'd add that the sanctimony of some of our posters wore thin a long time ago. We're not bound by some message board code to belabor every perceived fault/misstep of the program we're FANS of. "Same ole" or "typical" VN if we take a shot at another team. THEY DO IT! They export their own fans to our board to do it to us! And self-hating, defeatist Vol fans are ever eager to join in. No hating on that btw...it's part of this forum and it's why it works on here...but there's another side that has a right to exist. If fans of OUR TEAM want to talk a lil s*** on OUR BOARD, we're free to do so also...and it be done! THAT is "same ole typical VN". :cool2:

Although I waved it off a few times already this offseason, the A&M game is in such a bad spot on our schedule.

If we beat UF, we are beating UGA, IMO. The momentum and confidence the players gain will carry over into the next week. But then they'll start looking ahead to Bama and may not completely "get up" for a difficult game on the road in College Station

I'll gladly take a loss in college station if we beat the other three

Agreed. The other 3 games are just more important. It really depends on how good the Aggies are. If they're a legit top 15 team, I don't know if the Vols can come away with a W. Maintaining the focus and intensity needed for that 4-game gauntlet on the road and while playing the least important game of the stretch will be a tall task.
