Why does finbaum think we lose to A&M. Come on man.

They can't run the ball. That game will be ugly.

Prob just trying to find a game and that is an easy one to pick as a possibility since it's an away game in a rowdy environment. AM probably a bit underrated this season but I don't know how good they will be depending on which Knight shows up

Deep down, he wants Tennessee to win the East and beat Florida and Alabama. There is good in him. But he also can't imagine Tennessee going undefeated, so he's talking himself into a random loss to make himself feel more grounded.

It could also be that he just likes to stir crap up. Actually, it's probably that, yeah.

He's progressing as an offensive guard. He's in a battle to try and get into a rotation. You got Weisman and Robertson. Boulware, Jack Jones, and Mosley all at the guard spot. Brett Kendrick could play in there as well if needed or if he was one of the best five that day
Hubbs on Charles Mosley

A&M is one of the games that scares me the most. It's gonna be a tough environment regardless. Trevor Knight looks like the clear starter. They have some talent on both sides of the ball. I could see them being sneaky in the West. I could also see them losing 5 or 6 games. Who knows.

On paper I like our chances. But College Station historically is a hard place to win.

I hope we just learn to stomp out teams early and often this year. How fun would that be? I honestly can't even picture it. But this season is a legitimate chance to maybe see a Tennessee team like that.

It's far from a sure thing though. We're likely going to have to win plenty of close games this year along the way. Just need to win. That's all that matters.

I don't get the A&M hype. They'll lose to UCLA, then limp out of Arkansas with another loss. They'll head into the game vs Tennessee scared/tight--we'll whip'em, and then they get two weeks to think about the smack down that's coming from St. Nick. After that, there are 4 losses and Sumlin's fired. Then they try to hire Jones.

Right. It. Down. ;)

They are due for an eye opening win, every year. The are dangerous, even if they are inconsistent

I am just ready for football. All this hinges on the product we put on the field this year. I think it will be a great year but the recruits need to see because they don't have my blind homerism. 50 more frickin days!!!!

I think this is right. He's been very high on us all year and has pretty much guaranteed we'll beat Florida and has not committed to Alabama for the TSIO. I'd call that a win for us since Finebaum never thinks Alabama can lose.

I actually would fear them more if they were coming here. They have a penchant for upsetting better teams on the road.

But they have shown no ability to win big games at home.

I like our chances to stomp a hole in College Station like Alabama did last year.

I got a question for anyone who has sat in section M. How is it? What're the complaints (scoreboard is one I assume). I'll be sitting there for the Florida game. Got my tickets. Booyah.

We can't go undefeated with that 4 game stretch and no bye. Just not going to happen. Unrealistic to think we will.

We can easily win the first 3 games since we're more talented than Florida, Georgia, and A&M.

If that happens, we'll be playing with house money against Alabama. Our players will know we basically have our ticket punched to Atlanta. That'll allow them to play real loose against Alabama because they'll have nothing to lose. Alabama on the other hand will be coming off a physical game at Arkansas and knowing they have a game at Baton Rogue coming up might play tight that game knowing it's a must win for them but not Tennessee.

4-0 is very doable. But it requires handling our business in the first 3. Beat those first 3 opponents and I like our chances to go 4-0.
