Yeah WTH??? A disappointment and can't have a sophomore slump cause he didn't do anything last year??? Pretty harsh. I don't remember Kahlil talking himself up at all. All the expectations were from outside. And the guy hadn't played football since his junior year. I thought he did fine last year all things considered.

Yeah I thought the same thing. They were pretty hard on him. I thought he showed some flashes of greatness last year. As a freshman, you can't expect much more than that. But in reality, we all probably believed deep down he would dominate right away. He didn't.

I hope he was watching that. Would love to see him play with a chip on his shoulder. He could change everything about this defense if he lives up to the hype this season.

I think Dobbs is going to have one the best all around seasons for a Tennessee QB. Will that get him a drafted? Remains to be seen.

Regardless of Kahlil's ability, he was a freshman who needed "seasoning" as most freshmen do. Yes, he needs technique refinement. I think that we will see a much improved Kahlil McKenzie this year.

skeeter, OV, eazy, and GFW.

LWSVol and DeerPark also have some inside info on the program itself but not really recruiting.

I also think that Bob Mueller was actually the most connected insider we've ever had. Pretty sure he worked in the AD, as he had inside knowledge on both football and basketball.

From your list, I only remember reading info that consistently came to pass from OV (concerning GA players) and Bob Mueller. LWS and de1 are good in my book even with how people hate on de1 for his Bituli comments and probably what he has said about Gray.

I put the rest in OCIVol's camp. Even skeeter who rarely got his predictions right, even though the nature of recruiting was blamed when the recruit picked another team.

It's hilarious...he had equal stats to Trent Thompson but yet was snubbed from any All Freshman team. Also how many games did Khalil start compared to Thompson? They also said Tuttle didn't live up to expectations either....comical....he was the best freshman DT in the SEC last year before he was hurt.
