I will just say what everyone is thinking, the 2017 class so far is a complete joke...

- Somehow Clemson gets whoever they want in Tennessee
- 18 commits, with Maleik Gray being the only one that makes any waves
- Gibbs, Chandler, Smith are must gets
- D*mn I hope a strong fall turns the tide
- Good news anywhere?

You cannot be serious. Of all the dumb things put on this board...(and that is a lot of dumb things)...this might be the dumbest of them all. You cannot honestly say Dobbs will be drafted higher than Barnett. Dobbs is probably a 4th to 5th round pick like Prescott was and Prescott was a better passer

Watch and see what happens this year.

Most of the draft prognosticators haven't watched any film on the upcoming prospects. They just go off star hype and college stats right now. Its what leads to foolishness like Christian Hackenberg being #1 on draft boards at this time last year and Carson Wentz being a nobody.

I love Derek but he has limited NFL upside. He's a tough gritty player who plays hard but he's undersized (6'3" 260) and not very athletic. Guys like that invariably drop once the NFL begins poking and prodding at the combine.

Dobbs on the other hand is the opposite. He's a guy with limitless potential that has so far not put it all together. His size, arm, and athleticism are 1st round caliber. I'm saying he puts it together and has a monster year.

Once he does that he shoots right by Derek on the draft boards. Expect the same with Sutton and Hurd as well. Both will be drafted before Derek.

BAD NEWS: This is what happens when you can't sell early playing time anymore and have 0 draft picks in the last 2 years. Kids want to get to the NFL first and foremost. And whether folks like it or not, the cynical negative recruiting on our lack of draft picks the last 2 years is working on impressionable 17 year old minds.

GOOD NEWS: Team 120 is chalk full with future NFL draft picks. And they should dominate college football this year. Win big in 2016 and the 2017 class looks totally different in February. And then when we have 10 guys drafed in the 2017 draft, our recruiting class in 2018 will look like Ohio State's class this year.

Its all about the NFL. Players want to know that you can get them there. We just have to wait out this dry spell.

:lolabove: As a true freshman, he was blowing up the OT from Iowa that was a top 5 pick. It takes 2 and 3 guys to block him, and you think he will be a NFL bust? You've said plenty of stupid stuff on here, but this might be the dumbest thing you've posted. Smh

Don't think for me, I'll do that myself thanks. Ranked in top 15 is recruiting rankings is not a joke. For joke, see Vandy right now...
