Hyams bringing the heat on Twitter. Echoing what GFW said. Sounds like the 16 class will have about 10 studs minimum.

He must be wrong. All this staff recruits is 3*'s ...they never pan out and are busts.

Remember guys?....

UT loves QB Jarrett Guarantano, who has good, accurate arm
and mobility. `He may be a special player,’ one source said.

S Nigel Warrior has elite ability and great instincts. MLB
Daniel Bituli will play special teams and could be backup to Darrin Kirkland
Jr.

WR Marquez Callaway (who has best hands on team) and WR
Latrell Williams have great speed and are long-ball threats who can stretch
field

Jimmy Hyams ‏@JimmyHyams 3h3 hours ago
Byrd could be the steal of the class along with Brandon
Johnson, a polished WR and long ball threat.

Tyler Byrd has impressed, displaying skills as WR and DB.
One person said he could become first-round draft pick. Quickest of signees

It’s early, but UT feels good about incoming class. One official said it might be Butch Jones' most close-knit in 10 years as head coach

Relatively solid poster on VQ said he talked to an upper classman on the team who said that Brandon Johnson could push to start at WR this season.

Elite players will be leaving Tennessee though. To play in the NFL. Not bad for a bunch of 3 and 4*'s who are predicted to play in the SECCG this year.

I guess Butch is a great coach after all, considering he is expected to win the east this year and has the 3rd best odds in the SEC to win the national championship, all with a bunch of 3 and 4 stars!

I read an article a couple of weeks ago (wish I could find it) where some of the talking heads were saying that our coaches are actually some of the best at improving players. Better than most if not all the other SEC coaches. Specifically remember it saying something about Saban being good at pulling upper echelon recruits, but not really doing much to improve them. UT staff gets guys and turns them into upper echelon players.

Would love to read that

It may have actually been in a link on here, but I can't remember. Wasn't a big article I don't think, but gave a good perspective of why our team is improving as much as they are.

It was here. I don't know where either but I read the article also.
And I never look them up myself. Well, cause I'm lazy like that.

Says JG, Warrior, Byrd, Bituli, Callaway, Williams, and Johnson all look great so far. Kongbo is up to 280. Tatum up to 275.

Also, Bituli could be Kirkland's backup at MLB. Would be YUGE if he's remotely as good as DK Jr was as a freshman.

Liked for subtle use of the word YUGE

Wow. That was subtle. I didn't even notice it until you mentioned it. Of course that may just be due to stupidity on my part too. So, there is that.

Between my laziness and your stupidity, we gotta grab a beer one day.
As long as it doesn't require too much effort.
