Hey, to the guy with the giant wall of words.
Victims want justice, not money.
You don 't drop charges against the accused but ask for money etc...

It is true that no one may ever know the truth behind the allegations, but for someone to use their first post to chastise others while being the definition of hypocrisy is both dumbfounding and asinine

Lol.....without paying lawyers, for eight plaintiffs, it comes out to $310,000 each. Since the lawyers get theirs first.....then taxes. May be enough to buy an average house somewhere.

Don't forget the Tennessean gets a cut of that $2.48 mil too. They worked hard for those lawyers!

Doesn't say much about the integrity of the plaintiffs. They sold themselves out for 180G and UT admits no wrongdoing. A handful of bucks was more important to them than justice.

Little more than a full ride for our out of state tuition. Go pay the lawyers and you won't have that left.

Most of you idiots

With the many thousands of women attending universities here in the United States, your 1 in 5 women on campus being raped statistic you provided ended any credibility perhaps you thought you had. You feel, you emote, you have issues, seek counseling and peace for truth is beyond you to recognize until you do.

Wow---your intelligent argument to belittle those who don't believe the plaintiffs had a legitimate case with strong enough evidence to prove their allegations has been shot down with $180,000 bullets.....by the plaintiffs themselves....Please take a minute to consider that reality.....

Is a woman's virtue, self-worth, and emotional well-being really only worth $180,000?

That's something that really makes me sick.....that these women may have been raped and then are forced to accept $180,000--does that sound like justice???

The TRUTH is that the plaintiffs' are the ones who have placed a $$$ value on their sexuality and self-worth by settling for something less than TRUE JUSTICE...IF they actually did suffer the indecent and humiliating crimes in their allegations.

No ma'am --in my way of thinking--the ONLY possible reason for filing the charges would be to get MY day in court and an opportunity to have my story heard.

I certainly believe that JUSTICE is worth more than a $180,000 price tag for RAPE.... :salute:
