I agree 100 percent Nick. They shouldn't be allowed in Tennessee's facilities again. Shame on all of them for how they handled themselves with their recruitment. What goes around comes around and I sincerely hope they get a big life lesson coming to them soon. If I were any of their parents I would be ashamed. I would never allow my child to conduct themselves in this way. Be a man and be honest. All he had to do at OCD was be honest and polite to Butch, thank him for all the time invested IN HIM and his family. I know this is becoming the norm for kids these days but that doesn't make it right.

To be fair, the draft thing is easy to counter. The others ones, not so much.

The only one I believe has played a big role is how we use WRs but all the other little things start to mount up in the minds of a recruit especially the lawsuit IMO

Surprised I havent seen it mentioned but there is little doubt the bad PR from the lawsuit is playing a role in this recruiting cycle.

How big that role is certainly is debatable but there is zero doubt it's been a factor at least in some small way

I know that the coaches at Clemson are using it. I talked to one of their coaches a couple of weeks ago and that was the only thing he wanted to talk about. He asked if CBJ was going to be able to survive because of the trial.I told him that neither Tennessee or any of their coaches wold have ANY problem with the outcome of the lawsuit.

I'd bet several of the UT commitments who have been dropped are sitting back and thinking, Karma. Maybe thinking what goes around comes around. As a Vol fan I've been ashamed at some of the staff moves I've seen play out. If the staff gets a pass, obviously a young recruit does.

Lol no. Other kids who don't even play for UT couldn't care less where Tee Higgins goes to school.

No way.

Tee committed to Clemson on his visit (why their sources were confident) came to OCD, and either committed to Tennesee, or certainly led the coaches to believe he was about to commit, (why our "inside" sources were confident, as well as most TN media), then turns around and trolls the Vols.

He saw how Hunter Johnson did it, and followed like a puppy dog, as opposed to recognizing it as a dirty move (but all is fair in llove and recruiting, right?)

The only way I let Rodgers, Higgins or Johnson even sniff the TN facilities is with a public decommitment from Clemson. Those cats are thick as thieves, and their only goal on TN campus is to divide the TN program... period.

Tee has seen what he needs to see at TN, and decided to bounce.

Peace out.

I advocated for barring Amari from campus months ago.

If you think the "git shirts" our coaches pass out regularly is ok then this post is ridiculous.

Bruin and Leb lives for stuff like this. Anything that puts UT in a negative light...They're all for it.

I'd rather UT avoid negative things. A lot of it is their own doing though. Sometimes a change is in order. I'd like to see a few things changed. I think it would help mend some fences.

Why is everyone so damn upset about a wr, we don't run a pass happy offense, were a run first team...need to worry about RBS, oline, and dline

Way too much emphasis being put on winning big this year and cbj ability to recruit going forward

Won 9 games last year and that's the "problem" with the 17 class per many posters here. Is winning 10 this year going to fix that?

Just seems many are suggesting cbj is all in with this year and without an SEC title run his ability to recruit is over.

I am in no way ready to put that many chips on the table for this year and having to win at that high rate to say cbj has this thing moving in the right direction

I am not worried about missing on a WR for the reason you bring up but do think it's worth asking why are missing on these elite instate kids.

Some saw it coming. Said it was coming and was told they were full of it. Those thinking instate recruits would ignore how the states been recruited the last few years was extremely naive. Even now, a lot of fans saying ALOT of this years instate class isn't a big loss. Keep thinking that. Other top programs are loving it as they grab these TN kids for their roster.

Tennessee will produce an elite WR... Probably this year, in P-Willy, and this recruiting argument goes away.

Sucks that we missed on this one, but time to move on

8-4 and 10-2 is a big difference.

8-4 is fringe top 25

10-2 and we're in NY6 talks into December.

I agree but at 9-3 it seems many are saying CBJs ability to recruit at the needed level to succeed here is over

You really want to put that much emphasis on this year and one game give or take?

If so what's next?
