So much for locking down the state and keeping the best at home. We have not done well in that regard this year.

Some have said it for a while now. Don't bank on instate kids just buying into the program when UTs staff finally decides to show up and recruit their school. EVERY year. It can't be here and there. Locking down the state takes effort. Talk isn't going to cut it.

Rumors going around that Sony Michel was injured. Nothing confirmed yet.

Edit: Apparently it is rumored he had an ATV accident.

Yes it is. You have a lot of non recruiting guys in there going nuts on Jones. Hope you read my post about you and your posting of info. You can't help it being wrong on something like this. Hope you keep bringing what you know. Just shows you that no info is pure unless it is from the guys mouth. Oh, my bad, it was. You said you would give him the benefit of the doubt that he was just building suspense. Even so, to do that to your community and the team you were a fan with and had friends on is just so stupid and immature. Keep posting but this kid handled this badly.

Is Butch adding fiber to the PB? Maybe that's why recruits are shying away. They get the shats after they visit UT from the fiber infused PB.

Something is off that is for sure. He is just a kid though. Sometimes ideas sound good but the execution turns out badly. I am not gonna bad mouth him because I still hope Butch works hard to flip him. Being so close to UT the pressure to flip back will be large.

I did read your post. I appreciate what you said. I bet Butch didn't know the outcome until this morning. I really think all of this is a byproduct of the hype we as fanatics create about a 17 year old kid. The kid, right or wrong, had to lie to someone to keep it under wraps. All for the big production.

the Sony Michel news is just brutal for a team with a new coach, new OC, patchwork OL, freshman QB and now extreme questions at RB. Along with a WR group that doesnt scare anybody. New DL too.

IDT he hates UT, but he's not a big fan. He reads the derogatory posts and sees the mean tweets about his dad. And he doesn't have great history with CBJ. There's just a lot of baggage... which would be fine, if it weren't for his negative recruiting against UT. He has an agenda and he's open about it.
