'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

I'll say it again. He will be a vol on nsd.

You have been adamant that he will be a Vol on NSD for a very long time. This is the only recruit I ever remember you giving info on. I remember you saying he decommitted to explore his basketball options. Hope you know more than it looks right now. Are you closely connected here?

Get off your high horse. You can disagree without being an ***hole all the freaking time.

No I'm tired of all the negative crap that gets posted on this board every single day. We get it, some people don't like Butch, or the offense, or Coach Z, or our recruiting. It's always something someone b*tching about something. I guarantee if we win 10+ games this season, some posters on here will still complain about something. Take the negative crap somewhere else is all I got to say downing Butch.

Clemson's performance on the field is what sold Tee. All nuthead Dabo had to do was plug in a tape of the Orange bowl to see a true spread option that throws first. We are a run first spread, kind of necessary in the SEC. Let him go play ACC kiddie ball, that's fine, I've seen Tee play on the field and wouldn't contribute in the SEC until his 3rd year.

Makes perfect sense to me. DeBord's offense is not attractive to recruits and they don't want to come here. He was out of football for a reason. He needs to go.

Ok to get it straight... You think Debord is the problem, but not the overall style of offense, CZA, and Dobbs' accuracy?

Totally wrong. If Butch would hire a WR or QB coach to go along with DeBord we would have an excellent offense. We have wasted too much receiver talent in the last 3 years to get the top recruits now. DeBord has only been here one year.

Exactly. It has and will always be about having a dominant defense. Bama wins championships with only one receiving threat, a dominant running game, and a disruptive defense. It's the same formula every year and no one has stopped it. Don't let losing a recruit ruin your day. At this point I would argue our program is at a better stage than Clemson's. This year on the field will prove that. It's easy to have a flash in the pan season in a weak conference.

Totally agree. Those schools that live and die by the pass are exciting to watch but championships are won with defense and ball control.

Trust me, many of us who criticize him also think he's a good coach and the right man for the job. But he's not perfect.

Losing Higgins is disappointing to say the least. However, the most important positions are QB, OL, and DL. If we can consistently get good play there everything will take care of itself. WR are icing. OL, DL, and QB are the cake.

Time to shut the doors on him and Rogers hanging out at UT facilities. Not out of spite but we don't need them here recruiting for Clemson.

To your point, all the snazzy chrome helmets, flashy shoes, garish color wings, and really fast little guys flying all ovver the field exciting and fun to watch financed and bankrolled by Nike cannot produce a NC in football for the Quack Attack at Oregon.

Agree

we gave AL a better game than Clemson. I think some people said that we were better than the other three teams playing in the playoffs.

Win in the trenches with good QB play. You got the right formula for success.

Yes, Butch had a chance to hire an innovative OC but instead chose to bring in someone who was out of football coaching for several years. I would agree that CZA is a problem as well. DeBord has no experience as a QB coach and has done nothing to help with Dobbs accuracy.

Lol you guys are hilariously ridiculous thinking that it's positional coaches. It's Butch's offense dude...
